That exactly what we do then haha never heard the term for it.. I'll get a picture of our picker... Places diodes on our boards for each panel, so they aren't technically in series I'm assuming the term is broad enough tho .. I should venture over to the production room and out of the eng room these dudes barely talk plus we don't deal with end of day terms more schematics and possible use

Figured I'd edit this is just a side gig, prosthetic engineer by day.. Trying to learn more about led usage in cultivation everyday. Still trying to keep the project going under the boss's nose, so I'm not going to retreat to TNT just yet...

you guys got me fucked up over here, I'm damn near harvest under the 96x5w 480w reflector, and see no problems, way better and brighter than the ViperLED, I had which burnt the fuck out in a few diodes, after 2 grows, Mars seems the better of the cheaper LED's to me, I'm only using LED cause I share my grow room with myself. an nobody paid me for this endorsement, as some one who is unemployed right now I would love if someone did but No just my honest opinion

I used to use Mars and they are shit lights. Your 96x5w is only 200 watts true power not 480 watts and just wait until you need warranty service and you'll be just as pissed as everyone who's been lied to by them. I also want you to know the Cree Mars Pro series is a joke and they lie about the USA made Cree duh they are made in China.

@JimmyIndica Mars is getting ready for the pickle. What I mean by that is after their 1 year warranty the customer has to pay for the parts and labor. I call this the Chinese disclaimer

In communist China, all reviews 5 stars. In communist China, review write you (at 12:00AM every time). In communist China, same guy reviews every light in one day before they even ship. In communist China, users with 1-5 posts pop up on every forum and rave word for word how great their light is if it's Mars.

Ahh silly communist China.

Market analysis complete.. We don't want to tie our name to shit products and can't be profitable with high end stuff when everyone can relatively easily do it themselves. Make a DIY kit and people will just source all your parts and cut out your profit. The only way led companies can make money as I said before is hope no one opens your product and hope they don't all burn out.. They know customers will be pissed so don't warranty stuff? No just don't respond to the complaints..or you can make up nominal margins with quantity, expect everyone with a computer owns an led company now....Not a market I'd like to enter


Especially with all you diy fanatics running around with such a ramped following in the community

Real talk.. Real make some panels.. Start an etsy or some shit, get stickers like mau5 did brand yourself it's clear you know what your doing..why not capitalize with a bigger market?

Hahahaha you so right but I think it goes further than that. Cheap prices for the Mars II and the Reflector series, but the Pro Series is a rip off and stupid fools will buy them and say they are great. Until yes I said until failure and lets see how they feel after being boned lol

I agree with you totally Styles. Anyone that says Mars,Platinums and alike chinaman fixures are any good?
Those people are either paid to say it or have never used a fixture that was any good.

Hey everyone!!

I'm looking at buying the marshydro 400 2 black series, I've got a small grow tent, 60cm×60cm. Are these lights any good? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about them but good results in general about LEDs

For the price they dont seem too bad
