2 murders here in vallejo like a few dayz ago and more gunshots tonight really close where i live the night time here is like a whole different world

What is it that keeps you there though seriously. If my neighborhood got like that, I'd sell whatever little I still own and get on a bus and move somwhere else nicer even if I had no money and had to live in a tent or a homeless shelter and get food stamps until I could find work. Is it family, friends, drugs, what?
I mean you must have money for rent or internet or something, so you can afford a bus ticket a backpack full of food, and just walk away.

My best friend 20 years ago in high school did just that, he left an abusive home on a bus for california with empty pockets, had like $10 after buying some food to take and the bus ticket, and within no time he was on his feet. Stayed in a shelter at first but he was the type that did make friends fast though, and ended up just couch surfing and on food stamps a month or two unti he got a job.
