You do know that rock wool cubes have to be ph'd before using correct?I believe to like 5.8 or some thing.Do you have some thing to test ph?

If still just recently flipped I would cut some for clones. Reverting is hard on a plant if you don't do it early.
Wish you didn't spend all that gravy on a clone machine. Dude it's so ez without it. I can walk you through it if you want.

well dannyboy, lets go for a walk my friend. what do i need to do, im going to try to get over there tomorrow, i can only be there at certain times, and dont have a pc there so i have to read question and learn this before going to put it to the test from memory. but i cant wait, i know i am going to get at least 6 viable cuttings from the 10 i plan on taking. that will be plenty for my next run, and they can be rooting while the current tent is flowering, so i should be able to just veg them for a few weeks under the MH then switch back to hps flower and have quicker harvests!!

Here's how I clone:
Take a four to five inch cutting of any lateral and it's best if the cutting stem is not too thin. I like to see some sturdiness to it.
After you take the cutting recut the end at a 45 degree angle. Dip in gel. Make a hole in you soil mix with a toothpic or pencil and plant the clone into the hole you made. Water in. Keep misting a lot or get a humidifier. The process takes two wks. If any part of the lower leaves turn yellow cut off the yellow part of the leaf. Leaving the green part left. Humidity is crucial. If you can get that RH up there they are almost guaranteed to make it. I read a book that describes a similar technique. The only difference being they cut vertically the last inch of cutting stem right up the middle thereby exposing more surface area to hormone leading to greater root development. I have not tried this yet because I don't have much problem making soft wood cuttings grow.

thats all part of what i planned to do, going to use a heat-mat, cut em score em dip em, poke cubes, plant cutting, spray every 2 hours or as needed. then after about 4 weeks i should be ready to put the rockwool cube directly into a 3 gallon pot and rock out correct?

oh your using rockwool? I didnt understand that part. I don't use rockwool. I tried it once like five years ago. I really didn't like it but that's just my personal pref. I guess convict that rockwool would be ok too but plz don't let it dry out AT ALL.

i moistend the soil pretty good, not soaking put far from dry before putting the cuttings in,
they are in a humidity dome right now. i dont have a timer for them so weill be leaving them on a 24 hour light cycle. do i spray the leaves with water a few times a day? or just water the cups a few times a week, keep the soil moist? or damp? lots of questions..... should i add some b1 thrive alive to the waterings i do give them? or how about some of the rooting hormone? i read in an add for them that it is good to do that....
do i need to trim the leaves off?

also threw in a few shots of 1 of the plants i took 4 cuttings from
