Maxibloom Enough for Veg Stage for Soilless Grows?

I don’t get how it’s even possible to use Maxi-bloom in soilless grows, especially for veg period. It has an NPK of 5-15-14. Doesn’t a plant need way higher nitrogen?
So many growers here swear by using Maxibloom start to finish and it’s hard for me to believe considering how low the nitrogen is!

I want to go the Maxibloom only route myself because it’s so simple, so please tell me the rumours are true that you can do Maxibloom/soilless and survive. I don’t want to look back and be like “oh shit I missed xyz abc”

Here is the original Maxibloom KISS thread, an oldy but goody https://www.icmag.com/threads/the-k-i-s-s-method.189616/. Yes, you certainly can use it all the way through, but I use MaxiGro during veg because I like having it around for mother plants/clones. You are correct though, it's a bit low on the N side for my tastes even in bloom, but as you can see in the KISS thread, people just adjust the EC upward if they get N def and it works out fine. You don't need to feed a high EC with Maxibloom in a DTW setup, I'd start with 1 EC and maybe go up to 1.2-1.4 if you see deficiencies during stretch. Feed to runoff at least once daily, once the roots have filled your pots, then twice daily to runoff during flower (or more, up to you and your setup.) Plenty of runoff if your friend, it fixes most DTW problems. I usually veg at 6 PH and go up to 6.3 PH in flower.

I thought the same, but then I did it. It works great in FFOF, i just add epsom salts because I usually run into MG deficiencies. I also use potassium bicarbonate for ph up (dry salt). FFOF is peat based, which over time operates like soilless once initial nutrients is depleted.

I also reuse my FFOF, in between grows I add lime and azomite

Ensure you have about 25% runoff to prevent buildup and you're good to go
