Maybe need to restart

Ok i cant show u guys any pics cuz my dam computer wont connect to my usb but i was only on like the 5th day since i put in the germinated guys but i waited two days for them to germinate and there tails were too long like an inch n a half n i couldnt get them in the holes so i sorta like cicrcled them intill wha i though they were in but looks like i broke most of the roots off and now there bascailly just peaking out of the whole have the 4 lil leafs and looks pretty healthy except i had one that act poked thru the hole on day one so i took the dome off but hasnt grown since and i went in today to check the ph and the leaves were dead i looked a lil closer and seen the roots werent in the sponge so should i just restart or c how the other guys r gonna turn out i only got 2 in 1 and 1 in the other and none of them poked thru the hole yet but they still look healty should i wait or start over i no i should b patient i just dont want to wait for nothin ya no

Id throw the worst lookin ones into some soil or those peat pellet starter kits. Once the roots get longer try getting them in the sponge again. I use a mini screw driver to help push the roots down the sponge.

Oh dear got. Aerogarden sponges make me mad. Cut a slit in the top of the sponge. The spead it like you know how and place the seed tap root down. Close. Wait. Baby comes right out. If it needs help getting out of its shell. Act like a surgeon: steady. Dont snap the head off.

Soma says the best way to germinate is to put seeds in a cup of water. Good ones sink, Bad ones float. Most will eventually sink. When the tap root comes out its submersed in water. So you wont be ripping the microroots when taking it off a paper towel. Oh and most seeds sprout over night when sunk in a cup of water. Some take longer, but its a damn easy way to get it done and remember to keep the water at at least room temp.

Smokey: Sorry, I think I may have misunderstood you.... When you went to drop your Germinated seed into the Prepped Sponge (Fully pierce the Sponge with a Chop Stick or similar poker), you actually tried to direct the Root through the bottom of the sponge and possibly into the pierced portion of the sponge?

As noted, you need to be Ginger with the roots; delicate. i.e. Don't touch them.

If you've germinated for up top 2 days you should have a root the length of a standard clipped finger nail.

Gently place that germinated seed into a prepped sponge, root down (Place it in easily)

Now, LEAVE IT be.... Don't poke it, don't use a Screwdriver to push the root down.. (LMFAO on that one.... MeditateWithJah ) Just leave it be...

If you do shit like mess with the root, Push the root, etc.. (And the like) you will fail.

leave the dome ontop and leave it be....



It will happen, but only with Patience.

Yeah, I agree with krozone ... just put them in sponges once and leave them alone. I thought I messed up all four of mine but they found their way.

hah well the screwdriver saved 1 of my seeds. i was delicate

ya like i said it was my first time and the taproots were so long and i couldnt get them in teh hole so i tried to gently push them down wit a screwdriver but i periced the root when tryin to get it in a hole if i cut them like a hotdog roll and put them in thats the best way righ.. i no i just was messin around wit them too much but its my first time and lucky me they sent me twice the amount i ordered i ordered 10haze 10auora indica 10 bubble gum and then 2 days later they send me a hole nothin hidden shipment but lucky didnt charge me twice so like i said ill b happy to get one plant lol but im just learning by trial and error,but i do appreciate all help ima be alot more patient also how do u guys check your PH daily dosent that stupid color chart impossible to tell what you have it says 5.0 is orange and 6.0 is yellow so ive been goin for a urine color but i norm just remove the top and do its thing in the room is there an easier way seems like i add one drop it shoots one way i add another it shoots the other way

Distilled Water is at optimum PH levels. Changing the reservoir and cleaning it out frequently has allowed me to go through three grows without checking the ph at all. If their seemed to be nute burn or lock, i just changed the water clean the bowl. Practicing cleanliness begets cleanliness.

ok aergardeners this is simple and plain!!! when you get your aerogarden take your pods remove all seeds, put pods in machine let them get wet, then you will take your mary seed's put it in thesponges of the aerogarden ,2 days later you will have nice sized lil plants if you dont believe me check out my grow under my name i have done it everytime this way works like a charm!!!

ok i did that put 4 in each garden its just a pain in the ass testing this ph everyday was wonderin if there was an easier way but guess not

gotta question hopin my fellow members can help me i understand i need fresh air but instead of cutting a whole in my wall can i just leave window open at night get a lil oxygen flowing its just i just put new cherry wood panels on my house i would HATE HATE HATE to cut into it stuff isnt cheap

ok first when starting the lil ladies dont be afraid to use the aerogarden taBs as they are great for keeping your ph at 6 then once they get bigger the start giving them different nuts

so ur tellin me i should use the starter tabs now? i mean they only been in the AG for like 3 or 4 days there not really growing too much but im patient

use them now!! i use them once i put the seed in. they grow amazing right off the hop!

i also used the ag liquid nuts for my clones 96 percent so far lost 3 out of 50 last round

ok ok got 2 gals with quarter small tabs in each dissolving did u add a whole packet of the 8ml to a gallon dont say shit on these shitty instructions

for my machine i have 2 tabs that go in every res change, 2 tabs per gallon. only use the liquid from my lil ag to add into my cloner, my cloner holds about 4 gallons so i added about 8 packs
