I can see it.
Because he is highly competent and is similar to a lot of the very impressive younger people I met when I went back through school and actually put effort to earn some degrees.
He is not that much outside of the norm from the people I met that today are about 20-30 are group. This is why I am so exicted for them to start taking over from our old lead-addled, PTSD (9/11, racism/sexism/homophobia, etc all left their marks on our reactions to the world), age groups.
I am a believer in age bringing shared experiences and insight, but there is a lot to be said about people who grew up in the information age and know how to work with 100% of the population without prejudices getting in the way.
So yeah, the kids that are going to be brought up for fascist leadership is pretty scary, like that Candace Ownes person. She is very good at trolling in real time and even though enough of what she says is cult logic that she is non-credible, she flat out owns anyone who is not as well prepared as she is during her time in hearings.
But, I still am happy to bet my future on all the other 'kids' today that are all as smart and hardworking as she is and have confidence that like Pete has shown, they are more than up for standing up to the future cult leaders like her.
we have a lot of new talent, i hope it gets utilized. i've said it before, the millennials are our future.

I read an article I think it was Overdrive magazine (magazine for truckers with industry news) and the president of O.O.I.D.A (owner operators independent driver association) wrote a letter to Biden asking to be on a committee, it would be an excellent idea if they did, transportation department would be smart to listen to his advice
It's not likely that many, if any of the bureaucrats working in transportation department have much real life knowledge or experience in the trucking industry as the president of OOIDA does. His input, knowledge and experience would be an asset to the transportation department IMHO
Because there's nothing like some pretty boy bureaucrat that's never driven a CMV and has no fucking idea what it's like out here for us making the rules
