it also isnt likely to kill it all off though, and the plants process the radiated metals out of the earth woot.

Theres probably many papers done on such a subject, in the end enough radiation will kill a plant. I think much more resiliant than plants to radiation are bacteria.

One might argue that democracy and capitalism are brilliant ideas born way before their time, at the moment i think we still need to hack out the eco political religious violence with a few more bloody wars before we can ever hope to come together, work together and live together under such a grand unified theory as freedom or democracy.

Yes I am not disputing that, and I imagine that the right bacteria could play crucial roles in cleaning up nuclear disasters in the future, but at current sunflowers are cheap, and they dont mind a few sieverts seeping through :cool:

but dude light is radiation so i dont think it will kill a plant, radioactive reactive materials on the other hand :P
