Meaning of Dreams

http://www.dreammoods.com/, is a great site ive read alot on dreams and they are quite important,
The message in recurring dreams may be so important and/or powerful that it refuses to go away. The frequent repetition of such dreams forces you to pay attention and confront the dream. It is desperately trying to tell you something. Such dreams are often nightmarish or frightening in their content, which also helps you to take notice and pay attention to them.

flying dreams:
If you are flying with ease and are enjoying the scene and landscape below, then it suggests that you are on top of a situation. You have risen above something. It may also mean that you have gained a new and different perspective on things. Flying dreams and the ability to control your flight is representative of your own personal sense of power.

Having difficulties staying in flight indicates a lack of power in controlling your own circumstances. You may be struggling to stay aloft or stay on set course. Things like power lines, trees, or mountains may be obstacles that you encounter in flight. These obstacles symbolize something or someone who is standing in your way in your waking life. You need to identify what or who is trying to prevent you from moving forward. Difficulty flying may also be an indication of a lack of confidence or some hesitation on your part. You need to believe in yourself and not be afraid.

teeth dreams:
One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxieties about your appearance and how others perceive you. Your teeth help to convey an image of attractiveness and play an important role in the game of flirtation, whether it is flashing those pearly white, kissing or necking. Thus, such dreams may stem from a fear of rejection, sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. To support this notion, a dream research found that women in menopause report to have frequent dreams about teeth. This points to teeth dreams as being related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine. Teeth are an important feature to your attractiveness and how you are presented to others. Caring about how you look is natural and healthy.

on average we have about 8 dreams per night, we dont remember all of them, i used to be able to remember approx 6 but once i started smoking pot i couldnt seem to remember my dreams my own theory is because of brain is so full of acitivy on pot , we dont remeber our dreams while asleep but thats just my own theory

Dreams, we all have them. There is 2 in particular I wanna talk about then you guys can post yours!!

What do reoccurring dreams signify? What about dreams you had one time many years ago maybe even as a child but still vividly remember them?

Teeth Dream
Ive heard of many others having this same dream. It has no particular location and ends the same every time, my teeth fall out! It starts with a feeling of something in my mouth then i spit to realize my teeth are falling and i put my hand in my mouth and start taking them all out. I start to get scared wondering how my life is going to be toothless until i wake from the dream.

Sky Dreams
Usually taking place at my childhood home which i wish i can return to, this dream is about strange things in the sky. Ive had these dreams MANY times but each was diverse from the others.
On one occasion me and rapper "50 Cent" (yeah i know weird) were in my backyard starring up at ufo like phenomenon with lights and such.
Another time I was at some type of lighthouse location witnessing holographic looking dragon things surrounded by colorful auras fighting as if in a war of the worlds, their attacks sounded like fireworks.
A third time Im in my old house but there is no roof. This dream was one of those that i wish i could revisit, even after i woke up i was amazed by the vivid images presented to me. Their was sea creatures in the sky! They swam in the clouds, among them where giant snakes HUGE whales and strange creatures. The most amazing part was when the whale swam overhead and i looked up in awe. It felt so real.
In one dream I attempted to save the world from meteors. The sky was dark with shades of orange and red and meteors the size of cars were crashing down on earth and i was kicking them back up, yep kicking them.

I have lots more if anyone wants to hear them and id love to hear yours.
any interpretations of my dreams?

One more thing I had these dreams before i smoked weed or during a time where i had no erb for a good while, and during this time that im smoking quite a bit I fail to remember any good dreams, why is that?
I've had the teeth dream before in different variations. I've read that it signifies a fear of losing something important to you.

The teeth falling out is common and will get even more common as you get older and... your teeth start falling out for real.

For those that pursue lucid dreaming, the best way to capture and enhance this ability is to write down every dream you can remember as soon as you wake up. Every detail you can think of, no matter how irrelevant. Put them in a notebook in dated order. Review them as often as you can before bed. Once you get in this pattern, you will be more prone to recognize dreams as they are happening.

I am not sure why lucid dreaming is not more popular or main-stream than it is. A whole world of your creation at your fingertips. We sleep almost half of our lives away, why waste it doing nothing.

Why lucid dream?... because i have had more fun in my dreams than i have ever had in my entire waking life.....

It takes hard work, extreme concentration, but with enough time and effort... your dreams and your mind will be under your own control, every aspect.... almost.

Good luck, and good dreaming.

Wait...hey man, is this a dream??.... i don't know...

Interested in lucid dreaming at all? Check out this sweet short video from a movie called "The waking life"

There was a great Nova on PBS recently titled, 'What are Dreams?'

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/body/what-are-dreams.html

Unfortunately, it isn't currently available to stream like most Nova episodes (I encourage everyone to watch as many as possible, they are all amazing), but probably will be on Nova's site and Youtube soon. Try to catch it next time it's on, it touches on this subject from a scientific perspective and it's fascinating...

P.S. you can find clips several minutes long on YT now...

Teeth falling out is a pretty common dream, I've heard many a folk who dream about it!

I would like you to know that you can re-visit a dream if you really want to. That means conscious effort. Visualize scenes from the dream you wish to revisit. Remember the feelings they evoked you in. FEEL them again, be them. Do this before bed, and release your expectations. Don't force it, call it and allow it back. Dreams take place outside of linear time, so there is no place you've been that you can't revisit again.

Your sky dreams are very intriguing to me. They represent something you know unconsciously, something very real. I'm not at liberty to tell you what (I believe) it is though, only that you are on a great path. Kudos to you dude,
