Cool. Any suggestion for when to stop using Superthrive? I was figuring using it for another 2 weeks after the transplant then stop.
super thrive contains .o9% vit b1 or commonly refered to as thiamine and napthaleneactic acid in.048%. these are auxins, they are great for root developement. i see no harm in using it throughout the grow, and it would be hard to create a lock-up situation. if you think it ain't hurting , then do your thing. you are obviously capable of learning this.
So they've been in their new pots for a few days now and are doing pretty well. I almost lost the smaller WW because some of the roots managed to have worked its way into the vents on the pot it was in and were damaged during transplant but it seems to be recovering.
The WC are doing awesome, I can almost see a new leaf set form every 3 days.
The pots are 2.5 gal auto-watering pots. I will most likely finish them out in these.
The bagseed is doing well back under the cfl and the pistals are starting to darken so not too much longer on that.
some nice looking development, i wish you had more than one. you would be sitting fat, but you may already, if you and the misses are the only ones consuming.
So the 4 little ones are 4 weeks old today and are all between 4-5 inches tall now. Node spacing is still nice and tight and I've seen tremendous amounts of growth since the transplant.
Everything seems to be going very well and the girls are looking nice and green, few more weeks left on the bagseed and it's still doing very well even with the drop in light.
i'm concrened there is excessive heat build-up in that tube. if you allowed more airflow underneath, to vent upwards(heat rises), i think they would be cooler. i mention this from experience. if the air isn't moving through there, your plants are no getting enough o2 co2 for transpiration. not saying that you are effing shit up, just that airflow is sooooooo critical. that reflective tube seems like a lil hot box.
Here's an updated pics of the bagseed. She will be 8 weeks into 12/12 tomorrow.
I'm watering with Molasses and a light dose of Beastie Bloomz every other day.
I'd slow up on any nutes. if you don't let that plant use up those nutes in the leaf structures, you will taste them in the bud. i let my stuff yellow out a little in the end. a nice straight water flush is what i use the last 2 weeks.
Lol, thank you! Going to 24hrs dark this Saturday to start them off in 12/12 on Sunday.
Today will be the first day the lights have been switched back on and I have already switched out to the HPS light. Here's a couple pics to help record the growth.
I currently have to light about 9 inches away from the top of the canopy and they are all being watered with warm water and molasses every other day.
looking nice, as for the 24 hour dark, you just offset your harvest by that long. does it happen in mother nature? i think not. also, i think you may be watering a bit too much. one of your post a couple weeks back had the bagseed at like, 4 weeks. she is super frosty, but evidence of overwatering is present. your soil is obviously moist, and your leaves are exhibiting the "claw". you may have a bit of root rot, maybe your root problems lay there. this is clearly speculation. if i could touch and look we would know.
looks like you are doing good things. you are truly improving the carbon cycle. as a fellow human, i appreciate all your hard work.maybe you will offset some impact of my suv. is that the tractor you use in the foto? its sweet. i'd be fucking off on that thing all day. making piles and moving them. of course, i would have to try to dig to china first.
don't you think that mountain dew "voltage" tastes like swedish fish? i still think the original recipe with cane sugar is the best. no corn syrup for me.
