Let me start with saying this is one of the most informative threads ive found, thanks so much for taking your time to share this in.
Im not one to try and paraphrase something and claim I wrote it also there are many ways of doing things so i like to share both sides of the coin.lol
i'm using H and G aqua flakes they say for the best stability add A wait 15 mins add B wait 15 mins pH adjust then add additives.
I have never used H & G, but I recently hit them up about roots excel and was blown away by the lengths the reps will go to help their customers(the rep even logged onto a similar site to help folks with questions, ill see if I can get a rep over here to better answer you.)
Rob is the main US rep hit him up if you have any questions, cool guy.
But I do ask if he shares something with you, post it up on a couple sites to help others, might save him explaining the same thing over and over to others.
Benderdundat has some of the tighest grow rooms I have ever seen, here is why he said he uses H & G.
This is taken from Bens post on why he chose H&G Products:
Lets see, where to begin... William Van De Zwaan, The man behind House & Garden, is also the man behind Bio-Bizz and Canna. Three great Dutch nutrient companies. He first started Bio-Bizz in partnership with General Hydoponics and later sold the company because he and GH did not see eye to eye on things. Then he whent on to start Canna with another group of investors and sold his share of the company to start House & Garden.... Before any of this William Van De Zwaan had (and might still have) a very successful consulting firm in the Netherlands that many dutch farmers, both hydroponic and conventional, confided in to help solve whatever problems they might be having. During this time he was able to see what actually worked and showed results along with picking up many trade secretes over the years.... Now to present date... From what I understand House & Garden currently manufactures and bottles Canna's nutrients in their facility. That information alone drew me to House & Garden but these facts are what sold me...(1) Roots Excelurator is by far the best the industry has seen yet for healthy root development hands down. Just look around this site and see how many top farmers have Roots Excelurator in their schedules. (2) Shooting Powder in my opinion is one of the best blooming stimulants out there as well. Trust me I have used them all, Bud Blaster, Big Bud, Kushie Kush, Monster Bloom, Phosphoload etc. etc. and Shooting powder puts them all to shame period! (3) Last but certainly not least is the ease of use with House & Garden. At the very most you only have 5 inputs to add to you reservoir and if you use Great White (I do) then there is 6 at the very most. I was using Advanced for a while and I was adding upwards of 15 to 20 different inputs at any given time. Looking back on it now Advanced was a complete waste of time and money. Another company that I think is a complete rip off is Humboldt Nutrients... Have you seen all the crap they are trying to push?!?!? Other nutrients that I have used over the years are General Hydroponics, Super Natural, Botanicare, B'cuzz, Canna and Dutch Master. While these companies do show decent results (some better then others) I have had most of my best results with House & Garden. Ask anyone on here that uses House & Garden and I'm sure they will tell you the same.
I am running an undercurrent with 25 gallon tote for each plant and a 6" net pot(should i change this i'm assuming to like a 3 gallon pot with holes drilled)
( I think 6" should be ok unless you are growing some bigass trees with 3000-4000 watts on each plant, you can always upgrade later, im lazy why do what you can do tomorrow today
I would like to innoculate my water with aquashield and anything else you would recommend. and i want to crown feed my net pots with some tea(great white, subculture b, EWC, AF humus).
Roots excel is the best root product on the market. If you don't believe me ask Big Mike owner of Advanded nutrients.

I have used aquashield for a long time back when it used to be hydroguard
good stuff faily cheap, not as good as the excel though.
Im worried about slime mainly.
Slime blows
My question is with tap water i've been aerating for 2 days, will this water be ok to brew beneficials in and run through my undercurrent?
I believe so(although if you have had slime before and the water quality isnt great I might brew my tea with RO/distilled water, and use the tap water(out for 2 days) in the uc, check out hesinbergs microbe thread.

i'v been running my h&G with no swing for 3 weeks when i add A,wait, add B, wait, then adjust pH to 4.5(no bennies yet), then after a day it comes back up to 5.8 and stays there. what would you recommend for innoculating my water, and what for my netpots, and what order would i add the nutes, bennies, and pH? thanks again for all the great info in this thread.
I was thinking about soaking my hydroton in a benefical tea as it draws moisture into its core. Dry hydroclay it will float, leave in water for a couple days and it will draw enough liquid into it that it will sink.
