Medical Advise

So, in excatly 6 days i have some surgy on my jaw. Basically, i have to get a bone graft from the back of my jaw to the front. Its a relativly common procedure that sound pretty terrible. But it could be alot worse. That being said, there will be a decent amount of PAIN involved and i will be uncomfortable for a few days to say the least. The doctors will be giving me perks or other strong pain killers to combat it. The problem is, as a personal preferance i would opt to not have these chemicals in my body. Heavy duty pain killers are not for me. So, i figured, rather than being in pure agony, i am a medical supporter, maybe its time to put it to the test.

One problem is, due to the nature of the surgury, i will have stiches in my mouth. And it will be swolen. So i dont know if smoke would affect it or not.

Here is the few questions i have:
what is the best strain?
ive got limmeted options,
my choices are: haze, Ak47, skunk, so called "headies" and thats about it.
i figured haze would probably be the best, but any advice welcome. Or if somebody wants to send me some medical....

another q.
WHat if i cant smoke? or can i? do stiches in the mouth stop me?
I have cooked before, and i just put about 1 zip into a batch of cookies. These will be ready for the surgery (although the are a little hard!)
any suggestions on anything else?

such as making something with the haze.
problem is i will only have around 5 or 6 grams so i cant waste it like the mexi i put into the cannabutter.

so.
Anything?
thanks so much!

you shouldn't smoke after the operation...with stitches in the mouth, you cant smoke, or suck anything because it will cause dry-socket. that causes infection in the incision anjd they will have to scrape the wound open again to make it bleed...not a fun process...id avoid smoking anything out of bongs, pipes or papers, also dont use straws to drink, the suction in your mouth is what causes dry-socket..the doctor will explain this to you..

cool. I did know about dry sockets from getting wisdom teeth out... no straws or smoking is probably a good rule the first few days. So that means eddible?
any suggestions?
