Intro to California Kush
California Medical -2 Patient grow (no kids allowed)25 or older if you are going to post

I expect there to be a lot of traffic on this Journal, do to the quality and cleanness of the environment and of the medical plants. And do to the fact that this will be a long running journal and not a single grow journal.

This is not a how to grow pot guide.

This is not intended to promote or advocate the use of marijuana in any means other than medical use.

This is a view at a simple 2 person medical grow for personal consumption, in as effective manner as possible.

STRAINS: are top quality medical plants. OG Kush, Master Kush, Purple Bubba Kush, Ultra Violet Kush , Jade Monkey #1, Jade Monkey #2(indica extreme), and Jade Monkey #3 (rare kush pheno) also got Sour D, Purple Nepal, and White Ice, but dont know what if any to keep...you get you medical from NY city.... "get a rope"

The reasoning is threads can get jammed and it sometimes is hard to fallow one topic. SO If you want to fallow the vertical areo flower room you could Google like this, (fallinghigh part 4 flower room post site:www.rollitup.org) and you would get all the post referring to the aero flower room and only by me. I am not explaining this any better than this.

To refrain from this becoming a “how to grow pot thread” I will not give any info on nutrients, or pruning techniques. You can see the plants grow, and a smart grower will identify pruning techniques. The Only thing I will say is that the hydro is 100% hydro clean with only processed hydroslates as organic additives and the soil is 100% Home Brew Organics without any chemical additives at all. Other than that Don’t bother asking.

Part 2 Clones Post 1
dwc vs aero

started with DWC moved to aero do to sometimes soggy stem at base of DWC FLOAT RAFT. this prob was do to over packing of clones.

Switched to aero, built a aero cloner works ok, but the roots are stronger on DWC. The roots looked like little week scrawny fkers on aero hairy and all but I like the thick ropes of the DWC if transplanting in the NFT or Soil they take off going back to DWC hands down for cloning.

Part 3 Veg Oven post 1 :Triple Waterfall NFT (The Red White and Blue Veg Oven)For vegetative stage of growth we use a combination of LED lighting (red and blue) along with dual spectrum fluorescent bulbs.

The Unit runs at 304 watts 144 LED 160 FLORO

The advantages for medical plants are bushy stature that are rich in flavor terpenes, and dence root balls that explode when entering HPS AND AERO FLOWER.

*food for thought*led-fluorescent plants smell 20-100% more intence than even the outdoor sun can produce.

Part 4 Flower Room Post 1: Vertical aeroponic 1000 watt HPS

Simply put anyways.

There are a number of advanced growing and engineering designs in the flower room, besides the use of the specialized lighting spectrum in the vegetative stage of growth.

1)nutrient tanks are outside of the flower room and stay at temps between 65-72 deg constant UV treatment in res.

2) Advanced air.
a)Room was built with walls that are hollow between veg and flower rooms with (3)20 inch fans both blowing on the plants and circulating air from room to room at the top of the walls , with air vents on the opposing side of the wall on the floor.
b) the flower room also has a wall inlaid window cooler, keeping both rooms 70-75 deg.
c)The fact that 2 20" fans are blowing into the flower room as well as the window cooler, but only (1) 20" fan blowing into the veg room creates a unique engineering design. The aero piping itself act like an air vent sucking air through the pots, through the pipes, over the roots, and into the veg room.

3)Lighting positioning Spacing and Transition from one spectrum of light to another allows for a canopy of 4' by 20' 2-2.5' deep ran off 1 single 1000 watt HPS

4) 9 plants in at 3-4 weeks veg 5 in at 1-1.5 weeks veg. 5 are in a row 9 are spaced every other. The Spaced plants allow for aero misters to be checked.

Had some issues with aero cloning spidermites and smaller roots than usual going in. But they are now looking good and getting ready to start taking off.









next week should be better

Did I see a pic of a Purple Nepal??? Is this a true strain? If it is, man I envy you. The nepal strains are the fucking BOMB! Kush is close but true purple nepal or nepaleze hash plant are out of this world.

Glad you are interested. I love the look of the plant and the greenhouse has white ice, sour d, master kush, og kush, and when you walk in all you smell is the sweet kinda meaty sent of the Nepal

Hell yeah man. Thats what Im talking about with the nepal. It just blows shit out of the water in comparison. Ive only been able to smoke/see growing 2 plants in person of ANY nepal strain. Best smoke Ive ever had and most beautiful budding plant IMO. (Other than Soma's person grow) Checking out that journal on it now. Thanks!

Good question.
The water is under constant uv light treatment, to kill any and all bacteria or algae. The roots don't mind the light as long as the water is clean and the temps controlled. I even use fresh river water instead of RO, I recommend throwing a uv light stick in your res. I add back and only need change out my water after about 3 weeks. It could go longer but the plants like the fresh change out.

On another note. I grew 3 racks of tomatoes in 100+ temps outside in open air NFT. Grew 80 tomatoes clones to 2 feet in 2 weeks, no uv high water temps and it was the algae that protected the roots from the hot sun. As long as the proper bacteria are alive in the algae It did not seem to slow growth only protect the roots from the hot sun. Just Some food for thought.
