medical card

I just got a appointment with dr.zulacs office in falmouth on the 6th, iv had bad pack pain since i was 14 i injured it in gym class lifting weights, on my medical records show that i hurt my back but my doctor never gave me anything for it and i mentioned it to him every visit,i haven't been back to him since i was 18 , i also hurt my back again in basic training, they gave me muscle relaxers but all it did was make me sick, iv been out of the army for about 2 years,will they be willing to work with me or did i just waste 300$?

they should be able to work with you since it is on record that you have had cronic pain for a long period of time.

If you aren't eligible they will set you up on a plan that will help.

D'sNuts is correct. they will set you up on a 6 month plan to make sure they are covered if they get audited. Law states that to write a MMJ script for chronic pain you have to have not shown improvement for 6 months or not responded to traditional treatments(read the law, im not quoting it) so they will set you up on a 6 month plan and have documentation to prove they have followed the law. I went in and got my card within one week after i had a phone conference with the doctor, but i had a note from my previous doctor stating that she had been treating me for pain since 2003. Bring all of your medical records that you can bring with you as this will speed things up as well. Good luck and enjoy being legal.

I was lucky because one of the reception girls told me by phone that it would speed things along if I had all my records sent to me and I brought them with me to my appt. This is because some of our primary care and specialist physicians aren't really quick about sending your records to other physicians offices(not that they have a problem with it, it just isn't as high a priority to them as it is to us).

Because of having my records with me, I left with my MMJ license that day.

I wasnt so luckey, my old doctor never recorded any of my pain, so i just wasted 300$

Then you will only have to waste 6 months before you can try again.

They have to produce your records withing 14 days. This is law.

They got the records, y old doctor never recorded my back pain

the place I went to wont make an appt. till they know you are qualified(faxed rec's) and ive also been told that if you don't, at sulaks, or any other place, that you get refunded. thought this to be true...? it was also 50$ cheaper and a full year cert..

They put me on some 6 month plan, to bad too cause im moving to alaska in july anyways

Writing a certification for less than one year is illegal.
