Medical growers: How can they charge us to take care of our own pain?

It's about time to renew, and being broke and stubborn I am having a hard time rationalizing paying the state to relieve my own pain.

Considering they do nothing for you, and can't protect you from federal prosecution anyway why would it be legally or ehthically right to charge us?

If I have my shit together, my medical records right on the door, followed the letter of the law, and obviously visibly qualify can a state court even win this fight against someone if they don't pay?

It's extorsion.

We will fight that battle at a different time my friend. Please just go pay the nice doctor. And keep it legal.

yea the fight will come soon enough but in the mean time the cost for a renew is waht 100 at the most i mean thats less than what it would cost u to go and fight a posstions ticket if werent legal so 8 dollars a month to not have to worry about ever get a ticket seems worth it to me

$100 is a lot of money at this time and I don't even have it.

Life liberty and the persuit of happiness... They are infriging on all three counts.

Without pain relief I don't have much of a life, clearly don't have liberty, and happiness for me REQUIRES managing my pain and mood.

I know what you mean about winning that fight later but if a prosecutor were faced with a case like mine right now at this moment wouldn't it be impossible for them to win? Would they drop the case before court just to be sure they don't get a ruling that sets a bad precident for them? If they did drop the case there would still be an arrest record right?

I'm not up on all the legal bullshit involved.
