I was just wondering if anyone knows a decent link to a site which contains information that determins the effectivness of medical marijuana and bipolar disorder. And i would prefer if its not a big worded long long essay/study written by a scientist. Like basically a dumbed down version that has just the facts in simple understandable terms. Thank you if you reply :bigjoint:

I don't know of any, sorry. I have a feeling that depending on how bad it is the extra paranoia could be a bad thing?

I don't have any links, but I do have some second hand experience. My mom and my best friend are both bipolar, and people who are manic depressive tend to self medicate, particularly with pot, considering the meds prescribed to them make them feel lousy. As far as paranoia goes, yes there is a risk of it being doubled when you medicate with marijuana.

Depends on the severity/level of Bipolar, for me, i have it so bad you would think i should not be in society, but, because of how well it curbs my mania as well as my anxiety and paranoia, nausea, muscle cramping from hypertension, etc... I can live a normal life. on my meds from the docs, i was always sick, or had some severe side effect. It all depends on that one persons physiology, everyone is different.:bigjoint:
