Medical Marijuana Expo in Detroit @ The Rooster Tail

Any of ya fine folks going to this event? We will be staying in Detroit for the weekend and thought I would see what MI RIU folk think of that event. Detroit Mike is a bit upset with his booth deal last year, I hear he wont be attending and says "its bad for the MMJ community".

Thoughts?

I am super disappointed I can't join the PMG guys-last minute crap has me tied up but they will be there reppin' check them out. They got a booth at the expo and the FM should be there with the cup they won on display. care to elaborate on this "bad for the MMJ community" idea?

Regarding the comment, I am not sure exactly. He mentioned that the folks behind the event, are ones he would not be interested in supporting again etc. Like I said, he had a bad deal with a shitty booth last year and is likely a bit burnt from that, but I was curious to know more folks thoughts after hearing his. I enjoyed the event last year, and I had a booth.

I taught a fella what scrog was all about and how to transition gardens from standard grow op to Scrog op, without breaking perpetual. After he was satisfied with results, I explained my plans for building a scrog company. He said he would fund it, and we slapped together a few models and hit the expo (last year). After he took an order for 500 units to Canada, he patented one of the builds and told me "its my company, I paid for it."

He may also be there, Names Jeff Hall. Was part owner of Kaya Provision Center just prior to leaving on "bad terms" and then the mysterious "raid" happened. I may have to make the show a bit more interesting if he is at the show with a booth, might be worth the drive.

Sounds to me like Detroit Mike is a little bitter... What's wrong with the guys behind the event? It looks like they are putting on a great expo.

Business partnerships can get twisted-up real fast... They are a great way to get to know who your partner was. This event sounds interesting may have to check it out.

Went last night and had a pretty good time. Smoking weed on a bus with 20 other people rolling through the super hood of Detroit is a night to remember lol. I must have smoked 15 dif strains in the 12 mins it took to get to the club.

You should try smoking weed on a bus with 70 people in Amsterdam. One of them I was on got hit by a car. You haven't lived til you have sat on a bus on the side of the road for an hour in Amsterdam smoking weed while the drivers of the cars fill out paperwork. No police involvement. Ah HTCC 24, you were one for the record books.
