Medical Strains

What is a medical strain anyway? Does it just mean super strong or is there more to it than that?

Do these strains reduce or eliminate the accelerated heart rate?

I think I heard White Widow and Jack Herer described as medical strains. Would you agree? Can you think of any more?

I believe that just about everything subcool grows is for medicinal use. I got a strain at the end of the summer that took away all my hip pain (bursitis) like nobody's business. I am only just learning more about the different strains, though, so.. I posted this in part to subscribe. :)

I believe that a lot of strains, though, will reduce BP (I wish I could get my husband to smoke, the BP meds do other crap that I don't like), as I've been under the impression that mj is a vasodilator.

I totally agree with medical and recreational, both having healing powers. I know for fact Chocolate chunk works specifically well for diabetics,by dropping their blood sugar. And as your saying SubCool has been doing strain specific trait breeding for medical reasons. We carry all of their strains .vortex can be seen on our photos. This shit rocks for Pain.
So to say yes there are medical strains and others that are not so much :hump:

Herijuana is narcotic, excellent for pain.

Romulan is great for anxiety and stuff like that.

Top notch, hall of fame strains. These are the strains that come to mind when I think medical.

That is good to know about CC. I don't think it actually lowers the blood sugar though that would be amazing if it did! Is there a way you can test that before and after medicating or did you already? I do know that it has been shown to help certain neurological complications in mice with immune based diabetes.

So how do you know this for a fact? Because this is something that might change the Federal Scheduling, it is easy enough to tell if it's true or not.

Can smoking MMJ drop blood sugar? I want to know! Mike could be on to something huge! Probably just a gimmick to take advantage of diabetics, though. Is your Chocolate Chunk one of the $500+tax ounces?

I don't know anything about that, but here on the site someone posted a Google patent search that showed a patent on cannabinoids as antioxidants.

Could you guys take it to pm please? This was shaping up to be a pretty useful thread until you two started flirting.
Truly sorry! It was a serious question though, can it really drop the blood sugar? I have a patient with diabetes and she can barely walk.

My mother-in-law is diabetic also, debilitating disease, she's lost toes and has mobility problems. I haven't met her yet, but I've gotta wonder if she'll toke some up with me (whenever we do meet).

I'd like to know more about this, herbologist, please. Does it simply lower blood sugar, or can it stabilize levels? (Stability of B.S. levels seems to be just as big a problem as keeping it low, yes?)
