Medicinal choice help

Hi everyone! Just hoping to get a few opinions and recommendations for a strain choice so I can order beans and start a new strain, this time from a more reputable source. I do have some beans that I made last run waiting to be popped, but I really want to lock down the strain I'm looking for and cut right to the chase. Not that I won't pop any of the ones I made though!

So what I'm on a never-ending quest for is this...I'm looking for a strain that has the most narcotic indica stone (for pain) but without making you tired or sleepy. Something with a strong body buzz that is clear in the head, doesn't make your eyes too stupid looking, doesn't put you to sleep, and preferably one that you can think straight on and function properly (on the mental side that is). Basically the ultimate herb for work or having to be out in 'society'. I am a big fan of opiates, but I don't want to do them anymore. So I'm looking for a cannabis replacement that is as close as possible.

Thats tough, because strong indica strains have a major body high that you are not looking for. I was looking into the same type of plant and might have found the type that you are looking for at my local dispensary. It call Island Sweet Skunk. Its a dominant Sativa with just the right amount of body high. the stuff makes me really high but i am still able to function. I suffer from joint pain and it makes all of that go away keeps me energized, and my boss never knows im high. also one of the strongest strains ive smoked.

Most of Mandala's strains are described as having medicinal qualities. I'd check out hashberry.

Are you guys effin with me?! lol I just got done growing Island Sweet Skunk (this is half of what the beans are) and I'm on my second round of HashBerry (peep the sig). What a coincidence. Hmmmmm, I do have some ISSxHB beans though...I wonder what that would be like...

Good suggestions, I guess great minds think alike right? Anyone else? I tend to steer away from sativas because they kinda scramble my brain, you know, that in the head shit. I like a buzz that I feel in my body, but keeps my head clear to think straight. The HashBerry does have a good body buzz, but it still lacks a bit and it makes me look stoned. That latter part is gong to be the hard part I know, but if I can find one with the other qualities that I'm looking for I can always use visene!

Ever smoke a strain that almost made your extremities tingle afterward it had so much body to it? I love that stuff. That is what I'm looking for but one that doesn't straight put me to sleep afterward. IF it exists that is....

i did just cut(well a few months ago) a northern lights with just a bit of amber
it's pretty clear headed actually, after you get use to it anyways
helps me with anxiety, not racy at all, so so on pain though, planning on cutting a bit more amber this time

Really!? Huh, I never really thought any of the TGA stuff looked that good (I have the book Dank), but my girl said she wanted to grow Jilly Bean some day. Maybe I should look into that one...kill 2 birds with one stone (no pun intended!)...

This year TORONTO hemp competition winner( Red Devil) is very close to what you need .But jilly beans wont dissapont you either.If you want to switch from opiums to weed then forget about being sharp while working .You will be sharper anyway compare to opiums anyway.

I've been looking for a similar type of strain and recently came across one that is closely fits the description of the high you're looking for. The strain is super lemon haze and so far I have found that it gives me an almost immediate tingling body buzz that smoothly transitions into a euphoric yet focused high, and it tastes really nice. It does, however, give me the droopy eyes. Visine helps but it's apparent to the trained eye. I have found that I can vape a bowl before work and still be productive and maintain a professional demeanor all while enjoying the euphoric energy it gives me. If you can find some I suggest you give it a try.

Hmmmmmm, Red Devil eh? I'll look into that. Thanks for the help. I don't have a habit anymore, nor have I for years now, but I realize that that's the type of buzz that I like best and so now I just want to try to recreate it with cannabis instead as it is obviously much healthier. I also have a friend that's like this and he doesn't think that herb is as good really so I'm trying to find this to help turn him on to herb instead too.

Well, the description definitely fits the bill! I actually know someone growing that now, so I can prob get ahold of it. Strange, cause that's almost a straight sativa, which usually isn't what I prefer, but if it is how you say then I'll have to give it a try since I actually have access to it. Thanks for the input!

Anyone else have an opinion? I want to try to gather up as many as possible before actually ordering. I only order beans once or twice a year, so I want to get this right!

Narcotic without drowsiness is going to be tough. The closest I have is Kali Mist, it's like an up-opiate but I'm not sure on how potent the pain relief will be. My favorite strain.

You could go for a very strong sativa like Super Silver Haze or Jack The Ripper, more tripy than sedative but will give pain relief.

If you went with a strong narcotic strain like The Flav by Subcool you could try harvesting early, at the first sign of cloudy and before a single amber. You might loose some potency and it won't be as narcotic but it will lessen it's sedative effects.

Except I harvest part of mine while mostly cloudy trichs (for morning meds)
and also harvest some at mostly amber for BOOM-BOOM! out go the lights!

I am a medical mj user too and I used White Russian for 6 month.I should say it is really powerfull for pain relief but I had problem using WR for long time since i was losing my taste sense.I should say it was TOO strong for me.

I have tons of respect for Seroius seeds strains . but their WR was too seroius for me.!!!!

Did you try vapin' the White Russian?

It may not be the strongest strain on the planet but it will lay you out of you aren't ready... the pain relief for my RA is very significant... I am going to add another strain to my next grow... then I will be able to cycle the WR's...

I use a Herbalaire Vaporizer.Vaporizer is the safest way for using Mj.Anyway , how is the effect of WR on your appetite ?

The Wr givesme great pain releif and only about 1 in 5 times do I get the stone munchies,,,, I try and keep fruits and veggies on hand to help minimize the damage... if not I can eat like a horse.
