hey i have ALWYAS been a soil grower mostly....


can u use stright prelite or a mixture of perlite and vermiculite...well im sure you can...

but what is the best mix of the two and technique to use them in...?

The mixture in your first post is more of a hydroponic mix, called soiless. You really wouldn't want to do a soil grow with it becuase it is missing nutrients for the plant. You would have to water frequently with Hydro Nutes for it to work.

You can add Vermiculite and perlite to your soil mix but if you are buying potting soil it is already in the mix and you really don't want to add more.

Yeah. For indoor growing i like to use the Fox Farm Soil since it is all ready loaded with nutrients. I also mix in some pelite by simply pouring it in and mixing it with my hands. Best of luck.

ultimate pro-mix organic, its not 100% organic but it is a pretty nice mix. and my plants seem to like it very much. it can be used straight out of the bag(what i do) or you can add amendments to it. all i use is urine and grandmas mollasses 1tps per gallon of water everyother watering. peace.
