I dont get that part either. It has the same ingredients and ratios as Jacks but Jacks recommends epsom salt and their ratio is much different than MCs.@DrKiz i see you use over twice as much A as B, is that for flower or just regular use.
I’m still trying to figure out what ratios I want to use. Whether I want to go with their feed charts or try the Jacks 321 but skip the Epsom salts as MC part A seems to have plenty of Mag.
Flower. I’m on like week six. Switched from one part about two weeks ago.@DrKiz i see you use over twice as much A as B, is that for flower or just regular use.

Thanks man! Saved!Pretty much the same as seen on the GLN site PPM calculator. A few mods.

Such a teeny tiny amount of silica in the MC. Shame on them. Lol
Appreciate this, now just need to figure out the cal/mag ratio of my well water and I’ll be able to fully dial in my grow.Pretty much the same as seen on the GLN site PPM calculator. A few mods.

I've been using the 321 ratio with megacrop for my last few batches of fertilizer. I started out following the megacrop fertilizer schedule, but i think I was having Mg issues. Their early veg ratio only contains around 24ppm and I'm running LEDs in coco. From the looks of it the megacrop 5-12-26 is just a copy of jacks with amino chelation and a bit of silica so i don't see why it wouldn't work the same.Anyone try using the megacrop 2 part like jacks 321 compared to mega crops own feeding schedule?
Jacks or MC2 (virtually identical, as you noted)I've been using the 321 ratio with megacrop for my last few batches of fertilizer. *the issues I've been having may have also been due to a new batch coco, but won't know if it was the fertilizer or the coco until my plants get a little further along.
$ 17.00 for a bag of 25 kg (55 lbs) where I live.It can be found at a wholesale/bulk garden supply/warehouse or chemical warehouse locally for about $40-60 for 25kg (yea, kg, not lbs).
The numbers of Jack's, Masterblend and Megracrop are almost identical for the A-part: 5-12-26/Jacks or MC2 (virtually identical, as you noted)
I make sure Mg is about half of Ca.The numbers of Jack's, Masterblend and Megracrop are almost identical for the A-part: 5-12-26/
The B-part of those brands as well: 15.5-0-0.
But only Jack's and Masterblend also advice to add a C-part: Epsom Salt.
Why do you think MegaCrop is not doing that?
Is t not needed, because there is already enough magnesium in the A-part? (I read somewhere that this is the case for Jack's as well)
I noticed that with some Promix growing mediums and with the use of some additives you have to take into account a certain PPM that you must not account for when figuring this out. That's why Promix gets all the hate and it's bro-science when you ask how to handle that blend in your nutrient feeding.Like @AquaTerra said, ph feed solution is recommended and measuring runoff. 1100ppm might be a bit high for most strains, but if your runoff is consistently coming out lower than what you're feeding, then ok.
however, i dont think thats the case here. you'll confirm if you do measure runoff.
IMO, you have an excess issue. Give water only, and measure runoff. Feed her when runoff gets to .7ec.
Late in flower, you can let runoff go down to .25ec
water is the easiest fix!
Because quite frankly, megacrop is new and they dont seem to have 2 clues of what they are doing. Every 3 months they change their 1part into a completely different formula and dont even tell their customers. They used to say their 1 part was perfect and a 2 part wasnt neccesary. Four formulas later they released a 2 part system. The numbers of Jack's, Masterblend and Megracrop are almost identical for the A-part: 5-12-26/

This is what I've been saying for years. Greenleaf used to be a good, consistent company. Their goal used to be to bring us pure 'salts' matching the big name brands, at a quarter the cost. Now they are just starting to do what everyone else is doing. Like we really need another base-nute on the market? Esp. one that is already offered?Because quite frankly, megacrop is new and they dont seem to have 2 clues of what they are doing. Give it a month and im sure they will be suggesting to add epsom salts too.
Switching to jacks was the smartest thing ive ever done in my garden (moving to LED from HPS is a close 2nd)
