MegaCrop Old vs New Side-by-Side

RDWC is setup and ran for 24 hours without leaks. Moving plants over from trays today.

Plants were moved in to the new RDWC system last night. Final count is three Cookies N Chem and one GDP. Looks like the side-by-side isn't going to go as planned. I am going to have to do a run of the old formula and then a run of the new one. I wanted to do both at the same time, but I would be over my plant count limit.

Side note, yes the cable management will be fixed. This was a temporary setup for dialing in the new system.

Looks good! Don’t feel bad my closet is a shit show of wires and ropes and stuff.

Slow going right now... They are just sprouting so they are not changing a whole lot. I will upload a picture tomorrow.

Great idea on the comparison. Too bad it's not going exactly as planned at the moment.
I was just sizing up MegaCrop (vs. Jacks) again and looking at the prices, and ease of getting it, I'm leaning towards giving MegaCrop a try.

Are you/have you been using MegaCrop successfully in DWC / RDWC?? What are your impressions and thoughts on how it performs in RDWC type setups? Any problems/cons you can think of?

So far it has been amazingly ph stable in RDWC. The only thing I recommend is making sure you have an air stone in your reservoir to keep it mixing.

Seriously though, sorry for the plants not cooperating, but good to see someone doing this comparison. I love your setup. I just dropped a couple regular seeds to run in a 16gl DWC with MegaCrop so want to see how these get along. .
