Any chance you could give me the attorney's name? I'd love to have somebody that knowledgeable on my side as well. Thanks.
James Divine, Divine & Liederman, Ventura, Ca. You can look him up. He's good...great, actually. Not cheap.
Annie (Curious2garden), Thank you for the kind words.
I love the "roof top voting" phrase. The 99%'s should adopt a similar position. Roof top voting works quite well in other countries to influence government action. The corps. have the big carrot, but nothing beats a .300 Weatherby Magnum for a stick. It seems extreme, but nothing short of that would sway Policy Maker's votes away from the Big Money.
DSM, you asked who has more money than Big Pharma? Only 2 industries: Big Insurance & Finance, and Big Energy (oil, baby!). In actual dollars controlled, nothing comes even close to insurance companies. All those premiums we pay are invested until needed to pay a claim...which is why they're paired with Big Finance. Big oil is...well...they're Big Oil...what else can you say.
Thw White House response to marijuana almost made me puke to read. What a farce. How many emergency rooms visits due to marijuana? Do people actually believe that shit? Does the government think we're that stupid? Are we that stupid? We need more open debate. The Facts are on our side. Notr that it would help. The majority of people favor legalization, yet the government stays the course. If the government and Big Pharma are stupid enough to believe that a pill of any sort will replace smoking, let them live their little dream. It will be just like Marinol....a huge joke. People like the act of smoking. No pill can replace that.
I don't think they want to replace weed with a pill. I think they are trying to figure out how to grab a big piece of the weed pie. I also think they are coming up short. Our industry is entrenched. Just here in Cali the total weed market is estimated to be between 1.5 billion to 4.5 billion. We are currently servicing that market without any problem. In fact, we're doing so well that prices are dropping. Does anyone really think that some big corp can come in and take over our market? I seriously doubt it. I also think they are figuring this out. It's looking more and more like they don't really have a plan and are just buying time.
Fast and Furious is another joke. 2000 guns? So fucking what. Our government is the biggest arms dealer in the world. Fast and Furious was supposed to be another little public relations operation...showing what we are doing to stop the violence in Mexico. Like so many operations run by the government law enforcement agencies, it failed and back-fired. Let us not forget who these "agencies" are: A bunch of lazy fucks who wanted a job impossible to get fired from. If we really wanted to stop the violence in Mexico...I mean REALLY wanted to...we would legalize all drugs tomorrow. This would cut off their money. Why bring a ton of coke through a tunnel when 100 tons is just cruising up the coast legally in shipping containers? But, this will never happen because the government really does not give one shit about the violence in Mexico. They care about their image.
Rooftop voting. I like it.
