meristem culture rejuvenation?

I have access to an old clone from 1980. When it was healthy, it was the best I've ever had. And everyone I know who has tried it agrees. There was nothing like it. Sadly it has lost a lot over the years to the point it's not worth growing anymore. Someone told me about a process called meristem culture as a way of rejuvenating it. Is anyone on here familiar with this process?

Isn't that a technique used to culture plants and eliminate pathogens and viruses? I don't know if it rejuvenates a plant. It's interesting stuff but I doubt it will provide you with the results you seek.

Have you thought about taking 2 clones, reversing one, and pollinating the other to make feminized seeds and see what that produces?

Meristem culture has been successfully used to free plants of viroids (smaller than viruses) and plant pathogens.

I did try reversing it. I tried both colloidal silver and STS. Neither one produced viable seeds. The seeds looked normal, but they wouldn't sprout. And just gently pressing on the seeds, they would crack but there was nothing inside. Very strange. I tried several times, and got nothing.
