Mesh size for sifting trim?

I'm looking to order silk screen so I can make some hash from some trim. What size is best? In the US they are measured by thread count and not distance between the mesh. I've seen 305 and 110 for the thread count. Does anyone know what range is best for sifting?

this is what i use in the form of bubble bags.7 grades of hash.

25 micron
45 micron
73 micron
90 micron
120 micron
160 micron
190 micron
220 micron

I can't afford bubble bags though and screens in the US are in mesh count not microns. Anyone know what size micron screen is best for a single bag style, and maybe what the mesh count equivalent is? I just need something that will catch most of the plant matter and let all the resin fall through. Should I just go for the 220 micron equivalent? Anyone know what the thread count on those are?

well you need at least two one to sift and one to catch just get micron singles there cheap at craft stores, breweries or on ebay

I found a conversion chart on google. Apparently a 70 mesh count is equal to 210 micron. So something around 70-80 mesh count would probably be best.

apparently some of you have never heard of kief.

i'd use a 125 micron, whatever that converts to.
sift over a piece of glass or mirror.

seems like a wast to me but what ever floats ya
Not sure how it is a waste. It's an accepted sieving method. Only difference from bubble bags is that you get one grade of hash instead of multiple grades. Plus some plant matter will make it in and I think that adds to the flavor and high. Smoking pure bubble hash makes me stupid and hurts my brain.
