Metal halid bulb

Well what it is how close should my Metal halid be from seedling its a air cooled 250 watt I'm growing in small pots got some medical strains island sweet skunk going and some brain storm haze growing them in some seedling mix called bio bizz only watering when the surface of the soil is dry using tap water ph of 7 got some professional soil mix with no nutrients when I pot them will that be a gd time to feed got iguona juice grow

Put the back of your hand under the lights, at about canopy level, for 15 seconds. If it feels hot, or uncomfortably warm, it's too close. Get it to a point where your hand is COMFORTABLY warm. If it's a new seedling, raise it up another 7 inches. Each day, for 7 days, lower your light 1 inch.

Looks like u can get them pretty close your right about that aswll just been looking at other forms on uk420 aswell

MH or HPS lights in that power range should be 12-18 inches above plants and 24 inches above seedlings to prevent light stress which can slow growth or cause fox tailing.I need to keep my T5s 8 inches above my plants to prevent reduced growth and fox tailing of my top buds and HIDs have a much narrower beam angle so they need to be placed farther away

Ok mate thx for the info bud I will bring it up to about 24 inches from them now and see how they go

Stop watering so much or you'll be back with more problems. Overwatering kills more plants of all kinds than anything else.
