Meters...?

I use a standard non-electric powered ph/npk meter I bought at K-mart for 20 bucks. Really helpful and works in seconds.

I had purchased a ph and tds meter off ebay, which proved to be a POS with inaccurate readings even after I calibrated 3/4 times. I found the OAKTON meters to be very solid meters, waterproof, changeable electrodes, and great warranty.

But depending on your setup it might be easier to have a wand on a rope, rather than just a wand.
