I was a meth addict for two years and here I am today with a okay paying job and a roof over my head.

That is hardly the case, and a rather ignorant statement to make. While people make poor choices, one has no idea to the surrounding circumstances of a person struggling with an addiction. Take for instance the thousands or more a year who end up inadvertently addicted to pain killers, simply due to following doctors orders

i used to be a broke crackhead, lost almost everything. now i fully support myself and wife and have a decent paying job with almost 5 years service. im almost 9 years clean. just takes some waking up.

so why would you take the hard shit on a regular then??? everybody in todays world knows what it will do? as for painkillers i think thats a bit different they are legal drugs given to you by a doctor most times anyway and the knowledge of addiction is far less documented or reported....

but everyone nowdays knows what meth,smack,crack etc will do to you if taken for a prolonged period of time.

thanks gwn. i honestly dont think i could ever do it again, it makes me sick to think about it, so much wasted time and opportunity, not to mention the damage im sure i did to my body smoking 3-5 grams a day for months when i was at my worst. thankfully i got it out of my system while i was still young, but it really took my brain years to recover.

went to college and got 2 degrees afterwards. but i wouldnt have had to take out loans if it wasnt for the crack.

basically, if you have life insurance, make sure you dont let your kids get the money when they turn 18, set that shit up in a trust fund.

Okay, minus psychedelics, there is a legal, medically prescribed varient, or in some case "better/stronger" version of an illegal chemical. Cocaine is still used albeit sparingly. Herion legally is easily oxycodone, oxymorphone, and the list can go on. Speed is a variety of legal amphetamines. So no, its not different.

There is no explanation for it. It is what it is. I hate that fucking saying but thats it. For no reason known to anyone on Earth; Meth is the most popular drug ever. Meth single handedly took down LSD, Cocaine, MDMA...meth even makes crack blush. Why? Most fucking nasty shit ever created.... it is the only thing on this planet that makes me think there actually might be a satan

Hey opiated...I grow organic..see the dirt?...and without opium,heroin wouldn't exist..vice versa..so the damage caused is from opium.same with coca leaves and fertilizer runoff from tobacco...maybe to a larger extent greed..but opium farmers get 40$ for a key of raw opium..so that can't be it..oh,wait..it wasn't the point..
If it makes ya feel any better I was wrong about the weather yesterday,but learned to watch the weather report today.

Some of our members here are so wrapped up in the political discussions that they feel the need to turn threads into that.
It's the way it works out sometimes - but it's just snarky IMHO.
It adds nothing to the discussion.

I don't think the OP asked for anyone's opinions on meth, and even told you guys not to preach to him. To my understanding, he asked for the best way to use it without shooting up. And like most RIU threads I come across, everyone is arguing about shit not pertaining to the OP's question. Fucking sad and hilarious.
