How's everyone doing? I'm MG. I've been breeding seeds for a few years. I have a few of my latest crosses growing and a few favorites as well.

Lemon Chem Kush (Aurora Indica x Deadhead OG)
Pike's Peak Diesel (Blue Dream x Sour OG) x Deadhead OG)
Armageddon Skunk
Larry OG
Sour Cream (MG's Candy cut)
Blue Dream (Boulder cut)
Sour OG

PPD male to back cross the Sour OG and Blue Dream. Im expecting bombers from these crosses. The Sour OG I use is a very large yielding plant, easily 1.5lbs/1000watt light. And Im sure many of you have grown this Blue Dream before.....it's all over CO...

I'm at week three in bud but I will start with pics from week one and go from there......it takes a little time to get all the pics up.

Plants are all on a diet of super soil and very little Advanced Nutrients to bump up yield a bit. Tea is a little too messy for the wife. I don't use any nutrients after week 7, given the plants will finish in 10. Three weeks and a 50gal flush insure all the buds are as smooth as silk. Trust me even though I'm a newbie here.....I hate the taste and throat burn from improper flushing and over fertilizing.

Hey Roof---Is that the Thai bud in your picture?? Mine is doing well. I might look into Full moon again.. It's a Thai with a monster yield of pine flavored, sticky, enormous buds. So unique and people love the flavor of a good Thai.

Almost caught up. Sorry nothing is labeled. Things out of my control happened. My next grow on here should be well documented.

Hey Chef. Good to meet you. A quick drive south of Denver. Love the mountain air and the Mt. grown canna!! Me and you almost met a few weeks ago through a friend but he had to work on 4-20. It's nice to meet some of the peeps he talks about so highly of...

When the lights come on tonight, I will get the freshies and post them in a few hours....

The colas are filling in nicely. Looks like the one Lemon Chem Kush #1 will have around 10 colas all over one foot long. The plant is three weeks in bud and is almost 6 feet tall. The original Aurora Indica had massive colas, but crossing the Deadhead OG might have thinned out and elongated them a little. Either way, with only five weeks of veg, this plant should do far above average yields......especially when the SFV OG kush and Chemdog 91 are involved. We will see. It's my first grow and I have three plants of the LCK. The other two are identical to each other, and much smaller than #1....around 4.5 feet tall with 8 main colas each.

They will be up in 2 hours.....

Welcome aboard MG. That's quite the introduction there! I like how you brought us up to date on your grow. Can't wait to see them finish up.

Tell us about your setup. Room size, light power, etc. I think I see 3 hoods in there?

Later,
Medshed

Sure Medshed.

I have two 600W and one 1000W Digilux bulbs running. One the the 600's is an HPS, the other two lights are MH. Digilux bulbs are more full spectrum than most. I get great growth and crystal production with this mix of spectrum. Im in 10gal pots with a nice 5 inch bottom layer of super soil. The grow space is about 4'x10', the ceiling varies from 5ft to 10ft. I super cropped all the plants due to height constraints but one plant still grew very tall. The lights are up as high as they go now. I had to snip a few of the tops off the LCK#1 because it wouldn't stop stretching. The other plants did great and are topped off at 3 feet. The garden is as full as I could get it this time.....I think!!

5-6

Here they are. Plants received 2 liters of H2O each. I can give the plants 2 liters every day and the pots are totally dry the next day.. It's really hard to move the plants around at this point, since they all barely have enough room to grow....

Temps are 70 degrees off, 75 on, 35 - 40% humidity.

Thanks for the rundown. I just replace a filter and re-ran my ducting today so I'm in room setup geek mode atm. Nice setup you have there. I just started doing dual spectrum last year and am happy with the results. I do 600 hps and 400mh. I think you're the first person I've seen run more mh watts than hps. Do you run the same light setup in veg and flower?

I am running that light because I have a few extra MH's to use and money is a little tight. I would much rather have my two 600s running HPS's and the 1000 running the MH. Those bulbs suck the money right out of me!!! In a perfect world, I would run what I have now for veg and replace a 600 MH with HPS for flower. I need to buy lights after this harvest so I will have it set up about half and half...that's what Im looking for in bud..

In the beginning of my veg cycle, I messed around with the lights a bit and I believe, unless the 600s are almost done, that the 1000W is better for veg growth than two 600W bulbs. I know this may not be true for everyone, so I will continue to play around and try and collect some evidence.

The set-up I'm using is for the fall, winter, and spring. I don't grow in the summer due to the heat.....we don't have air conditioning in the house. The summer is for breeding only. I'm working on a back cross that grows 2 inches a day in dirt! This cross literally grows twice as fast from seed as other plants do from seed or clone.....not to mention....with no relation to Cheese, it's 5 or 10 times more stanky than Dinafem's Cheese. It's a little leafy so I'm trying to clean that up a bit and then I will release them...I hate leafy plants!!!
