mg deficiency??????? small purple spots

this is my first time growing with 2 40w cfl's and a fan in a sealed wooden box with ventalation thats all i can get for now i just put the second light in . i just started feeding it beacuse it was growing slow it's at day 14 and has some purple spots verry small spots and the leaves are greenish yellowonly some of the bigger leaves .it looks fine but it might get worse.i was wondering if i could use epsom salts but the only stuff i have is lavander scented ??? :joint:bongsmilie:eyesmoke::leaf:

When a seedling is starting you see growth the first couple weeks, then the top slows down and the roots start to build. Thats where most new growers get impatient and add nute whether the plant needs them or not.

Flush it out and go back to water thats PH is about 6.0 for a week or two.

DO NOT USE MIRACLE GROW please by all means dont

there are so many people that have problems with it because its not meant for MJ plants at all and when u use it then try to flush it at the end it will kill the plant because it will release more nutes and burn the plant to the ground

This is working fine for me and it was cheap

Dream Teamm soil mix:

35% mulch soil redwood
35% planting mix no ferts.
15% perlite
15% sand

just today i went to go look at the plant
and it was like dead my friend forgot to water it
and it was still standing nice and strong but the leaves were
all dry and curled up so i watered it and it didnt realy improve much
but the bottom of the stem started to turn green again a little bit
do you think it will live?

yeah im sure its dead im just gonna grow 2 more and get more cfl's like 100w a plant atleast.
and better nutes an im putting a computer fan in a hole in the side of te box
for better ventilation i already got a good fan in there ill post some pics once they have sprouted

If you're going to use a milkjug like that as a pot, then at least cover it with some dark thick construction paper or something like that, the light can easily penetrate the bottle and get to the roots which is not good for the plant at all. And as for someone saying not using miracle gro, although there are plenty of better nutes out there for MJ, I've used miracle gro before with no problem whatsoever, just never use the suggested strength on the box. Always go lower.
