MG *Organic question

Well I started half a grow in MG Organic, and the other half in some Scotts soil. Well my MG seedlings are doing just fine 'cept some deformities. It's the the seedlings in the other soil, they are far behind in growth, and are looking a little yellow. So I'm guessing it's a lack of nutes that is keeping them in the smaller state that they are in. I'm just wondering if the slow growing will catch up after some applied nutes (General Hydroponics *Flora Series)?

you planted those at the same time? Under the same lighting? are they the same strain?
I haven't seen a like that using two different soils. If that is the case, I'm might start trying the MG organic for Starting my seedlings...
Give the other a dose of the Flora, PPM it at around 400 and see what happens in a couple of days.

I don't have a PPM meter, but I just thought I'd start a quarter strength on the Scotts. BTW, yes I started all seeds the same day under the same schedule of everything. I have two different strains going right now. W/ a total of 8 seedlings. In both cases the MG is doing far better. The pics in my first post are from the same strain *Ice. The other half are NortherLights btw ;-)
