250 watt mh for flowering plugged into a surge protector along with a fan. the surge protector is plugged into a timer. Now will this be a problem? Because i had a 100watt hps and it didnt seem to power the light up all the way. So what im saying is is the 250mh going to get powered up all the way? what do you guys think?

I use a 250w MH, with a bunch of clf clamp lights.

The fan and lights are on the same timer. The fan does not bother the light output, but a heater goes off and on and that dims the lights momentarily. Should not be a big problem.

If the hps wouldn't light it probably just needed a new bulb. Both should work fine after you replace the bulb.

You do know HID bulbs are only good for about 6 months right?
