i need some opinions on flowering here...im vegging 2 plants with 3 3500k cfls, i also have a 150w mh but it dosent say how many lumens. which of the 2 would be best to flower with?
mh or cfl for flower

use the Mh for veg as well, if you have a lamp that will use either mh or hps, I would buy an hps bulb, they seem to be the best for flowering, and also was the most highly recommended to me when I had the same question. mine just started on hps, and it is my first grow, I used mh for veg. the plants are exploding under the hps, like 3-4 inches a day. thats what I would do if I was you.

dont know if i will be able to afford a hps..after looking around outside i find 3 more mh's so hopefully that will be enough to veg and flower

Yeh I would use the cfls for side lighting... hang them around the plant, and the MH over top. HPS would be best for flowering, but MH is fine. With the cfls on the sides you should get good results
MH is amazing for veg though, so on your next grow get those MH's set up and watch your babies grow : )

Hey guys...I know this probably a stubid Q, Do you know the long tube fluoresent lighting that you would see in offices, Are they any use for growing. Its just A few have come in to my possession. Would love a quick response because i have to say if i want them or not before the end of today.

Yeh, find out what light sprectrum they are. Most of them are good for vegging. Can you tell us more about them? They have a name on them? Pictures?
