MH or HPS for first 2 wks ?

Getting ready to flower, I have read that using an MH the first 2 weeks in flower will reduce stretch and keep plants tight. True? Not true?

Yes that is true, the red light from the hps can make them stretch more, mh for first two weeks of flowering then make the switch.
