MH to HPS conversion bulbs

Do they make a HPS bulb that i can run on my 1000 watt MH hood and ballestdont really have the $$$ for a switchable ballest and bulb right nowand just harvested with the MH and didnt get the fat buds i was lookin for any advice would be appreciated

OregonMeds is right, you would be better off just going and buying a new 1000w HPS system. I know you can a complete one from htgsupply for 240 plus shipping. For an extra 30 bucks, you can get the Agromax MH conversion bulb for the HPS ballast. The cheapest 1000w HPS conversion bulb I could find was 155, before shipping, at hydrowarehouse.com. The cheapest 1000w MH conversion bulb was 69.90 with shipping on ebay.

for fatter buds ur gonna need a hps since flowering requires more reddish/orange color light... metal halide gives off purplish/ blue which is optimum for veg growth, buy a new ballast and save urself time & money!
