why wouldnt a 6400k alone produce nice buds? whats the science behind it?

The end of the color spectrum they produce - blue. They help produce nice buds if used as a supplement during flower but have far too little red to produce flowers.

hmm..so maybe i should buy a big 2700k cfl, and then supplement with small 6400k ones

CMH by phillips an hps by eye hortilux the best bulbs you can get by me

i veg/flower in HPS. i see no difference. If u want to use MH for a veg just roll with CFL's. then move back to a HPS.
