Hey guys did any of you move address while awaiting a card in the mail, I hope change of address at the post office will be good enough so I get the cards I got coming, does anyone know if this works fine? Whenever I moved before I change my address with everyone I can and still always end up getting stuff at my old address

It should, but you are also required to contact the state within 14 days of moving I believe. I am looking at a similar problem soon, I'm getting a p.o box when i change it so I don't have to deal with it again though.

I'm a CG and my brother has a felony conviction for weed. He is afraid to come over in case there is a bust.

The question is what would his risk be? Would he go to jail just for being in my home? If he became my Patient would that solve the problem?

there is no problem. your grow room has to be locked with only you having access to it. if thats the case hes fine to visit. dont be pullin out the plants and/or taking people in the room thats the line you cant cross.

Thanks, rzza, you're a gem. I didn't even think about letting anyone (except my brother) into my grow room. Now he's out. I don't want anyone to know I'm growing anything.

just want to add something that kind of answers your last question about 'if he became a patient' - If he did become a patient it is sort of a grey area on if he was allowed to enter your grow room or not however MDCH and Police+ prosecutors have made statements that insinuates that patients are allowed to enter the grow room.

If you just want to play it extra safe then don't let him enter the grow room, however, if he does enter the grow room I will not tell lol.

The way I see it is if you have a card caretaker or patient you can go into my grow room of course It is something I try to avoid if necessary and I would never document such a thing happening or even allow them to leave a fingerprint.

I agree I figure that 'if' anyone (my bro) ever enters my grow room that they would be required to wear gloves. I don't think I'll have any problems, I really try to fly way under the radar.

I've reached that place in my life that I've become what I call 'wallpaper'. I'm there but no one notices me. I don't get pulled over for speeding, even when the police are looking directly at me. I own a small business and people can't even recall when I'm in a business meeting and they talk as if I'm not there. Which is a very good thing for me, you can't believe what I hear. lol

I'm living my motto- Outta sight, outta mind.

I feel ya, I dont go out and look for trouble or anything either and for most part only communicate with family and then ofcourse my coworkers on a strictly proffesional level, I really dont think your average joes/sallys like me and you have much to worry about. I got pulled over 2 years ago and the officer just ask me a few questions and then was in a hurry to get going once he saw I wasnt a criminal lol, thats flint for you I guees. (he pulled me over cause I pulled out of a gas station on to the brightly lit street with my headlights still off)

Hey everyone. I'm born and grew up in MI now living and growing medical ganja in California. Heading home for a visit in a few weeks. I hold a card in CA and luckily, it is fully valid and recognized under the new law in MI which is the best news I have ever heard. Have had a tough time getting quality meds there in the past. Are there dispensaries or how is the medical weed provided? Thanks for your help!

There are some dispensaries, but mostly caregiver-patient relationships. There is a forum in the michigan area with them listed I believe.

You need to make friends with someone that is a caregiver or patient, there is also some dispensaries but not a whole lot. Your CA card is only valid for so long so you better get to work on getting an MI card once you get here. You could join a compassion club to meet some people also.

Our law does not allow us to give ya mads unless yer a patient of a caregiver so kind of leaves ya stuck here. I get a few calls from out of state patients looking to visit our state and wanting meds. Like ta help them but cant. Best thing I can tell ya is hit a c/c meeting and see what falls out of someones pockets. Somehow they always get helped hehehehehehehehe.

ACLU says that patient to patient transfers are legal but it's one of the maney gray areas of the law so do be careful. Patients can get meds from anyone and be legal, it's the one handing it over thats in question. F'ed up I know but thats what we have to deal with......

Yea still not sure what is REALLY legal and wish they would hurry up and clarify it.

I would not go by anything that the ACLU says cause they can say whatever they want but its the local law enforcement and judiscial system that matters.

Reallity is that the ACLU also think Terrorists should have American Rights
So take what they say with a grain of salt
That's what I do and then I just throw it over my shoulder haha

But yea hopefully soon we will find out what is really legal

FElony drug conviction can bar certain people from doing good things, like in this case. However, it does help prevent those "greedy cashcroppers" from using us as a loophole, so to speak.

I'm almost positive she can be a patient with a felony! Just not a caregiver
I am positive. I am a felonious patient myself. Convicted 2004 for mj. NO problems at all here, there is even something buried somewhere in all the state's legalese addressing all that.
