Badass. I did one coat of paint today and really like it, it almost blocks out all the light. One more and a couple days to dry and I should be all set...

Here to watching another great michigan grow. The program is at over 12 thousand patients now, it's quite amazing. Keep up the good work, love the flexible lamp stuffed with CFLs.

Yeah the State needs to hire more people to keep up or we will start getting to far behind. Yeah I got that off clearance, it can hold 4 CFLs pretty good but they start to dim if I put anymore in...

I havnt had time to check the plants that much while being at the hospital. I have included a couple pics. I finished the new veg box and put them in there today. I know temps were low the last couple days but never below 65F. Water once a day. Seems like growth has stopped on the little one and the leaves dont look so good on the ER. Any ideas? Is it ready for nutes? She is 2 weeks old..

If your using a soilless mix with no fertilizer, you'll want to add something when you have the first set of true leaves. They are definitely hungry if they haven't received anything yet. 65 is a fine nite time temp, mine dips to 62 sometimes, 0 issues.

Yeah, its soiless except for the jiffy pellet that's in there. Ill start the Lucas formula tomorrow at 1/4h strength. Thanks for the info..

Received all my seeds from attitude and am going to germ a AB, ER, AND Flower Power tomorrow.

If your doing drain-2-waste hempties, I would advise you check the EC/PPM of your runoff periodically. I got a build-up of nutes in my mothers, nearly hit 3 EC Now I only add fertilizer twice a week, other days are plain water only. Luckily I checked before it went on too long. Just something to keep an eye on.

Can you reccomend a good EC/PPM meter? I saw that this popular, Bluelab Truncheon. Not really looking to spend 200+ bucks.

I orderd a HM digital COM-100 off amazon for about 65 bucks. Nice meter, suppose to be waterproof (my first was defective, don't chance the new one lol) and it goes all the way up to 9.9 EC. Some of the other cheap meters are limited to 2EC, kinda useless if your pushing to 2.5 as I sometimes do. Only gripe is the temperature takes ~1min to adjust from room to the water temp. After using it a while I can get a good estimation before the temperature correction finishes though.

I will be getting a truncheon when this one goes though, 130 at my local shop. Like you I wanted a cheaper solution until I got things rolling.

Sweet maybe I will look that one up. I feed them 1/4 nutes last night and the AB really responded but the ER didn't as much. Ill post some pics soon.

Well I feed em last night and they are looking a little better. The Blueberry looks great and the ER looks about the same.

First pic is Auto-Blueberry, 2nd is pic of ER after nutes and 3rd is before nutes. Seems like she isn't cupping her leaves now and the edges aren't as dis-colored. How fast should the nutes return the leaves back to normal?

Most changes in nutes will be seen 3-5 days in the future. The yellowing will remain on the old leaves, but the new growth should be a deeper green if they are up taking nitrogen properly.

Here are some updated pics. I am still looking to get some fluros for the side of my cabinet but I haven't really looked yet. Also need to install a PC fan or 2 for some air movement. I dont know if the paint worked very well, maybe if I did a 3rd coat but I think mylar\panda tape is the way to go (I have not used either before though).

I think they look better now. I am still using 1/4th nutes, not sure when to up to 1/2, maybe after the gallon is gone (half way now). Also all 3 seeds germed (1 x ER, AB, Power Flower) using the towel method. I put them in the jiffy pellets last night and hopefully they pop pretty soon.

Anyone have any insight on lst'ing autos? I was really thinking about doing it but I dont know if it would be worth it?

I also read something about misting carbonated water, anybody do this? I was thinking about misting the girls with some distilled water with Supertrive in it. I feed very early in the morning (1am), by the time its evening the reservoir is practically empty and I was thinking they would benefit from this.

Also I took a pic of the one leaf on the ER. It's the only leaf like that on the plant, white mark is from a water reflection...

Superthrive for misting? Dunno bout that. I only use it for clones and transplanting. Id foliar with FF Grow Big or Shultz or 1 of the million veg nutes.imo

Glad I didn't use it then. The ER and AB sprouted today and am waiting on the Power Flower.

Ditty - when you foliar feed do you also feed normally? I'm loving the cabinet btw!!! Ill have to get some panda film or something as the paint didn't work as well as I though..
