i think you have a good grasp of it...Quick question on this. I have been reading up on dry blood, after I have given my plants 2 doses and found this info. The dried blood I bought (and every brand around my house) is 12% insoluble Nitrogen. Only like .5% (maybe less, I found some people claiming .36) of the shit is water soluble and max potency takes 7 days, I waited 3. Now my plants did look noticeably better the next couple days following the first dose so it did work to some extent. I did read that it helps soil quite a bit as the 11% that does not dissolve in the water is stored in the soil and used as time goes on.
from what ive read its best to put it in the soil before planting/transplanting. also you should see faster results with a couple foliar feedings.
