After a few failed attempts...
i was inspired by Wolfman Zen to get back into it and go micro and eventually perpetual.
so here goes

Background Info,
2 hydro plants
1 miracle grow plant
3 clones from a previous female
Schultz take root powder
all are on 18-6
fan runs 24-0

Materials,
Homemade grow tent
2 aquarium air pumps (dual output)
Schultz take root powder
25 wat cfls ( 10 in the tent )
General Hydroponics 3 part series
Myron ULTRAMETER 4P (TDS meter)
various rubber maid and Tupperware items
Bagseed from a friend ... you know who u are
1 Honeywell fan
Plastic cups
Hygrometer
Packing foam material

and those clones dont seem to want to root
any suggestions?

looking good mate, think you should have put the clones in rockwool cudes to let them take root...

i would have done that but the nearest hydro store is about 40 miles away...
and i saw this method and ppl said it worked fine and rooted fast...

next time ill do it the right way

i would have sliced the lower part of the stems with a sterilised blade, easier for roots to form.

how long have they been trying to root?
And yes.. You can recut... use a new sterilised blade.. and also do some vertical cuts down the lower stem just passed the skin.

dip them in the rooting powder... and also mix some rooting powder in a cup of water and pore it in the rez.

but i was just doing diagonal cuts
ill recut and clean the materials tonight

ok so i sterilized the blade as much as possible. cleaned off all tubing, containers, and airstones, and put some rooting hormone into the rez. i hope they root.

thanks guys, its not really micro now that i think of it. but i guess it just leaves me more space if i want to throw a few more rezs in there eh

Very nice rictor... DWC rocks...

and the clones are weird... some take fast some take forever...

Come by my grow and check out my new tent... home made as well...

Wonder what Zen is up to... hopefully he just got tired of RIU.... hope all is well...
