Micro grow

I been looking into starting a micro grow. I'm thinking about 8 plants at a time, the goal is a perpetual garden. I don't have much space so I figured this would be my best bet. I've done plenty of grows in my day but never a micro grow. Is there anything I need to know? Like feeding and all that? Business as usual?

Doesn't really sound like a micro. I consider a micro like 2X2 space 2 to 4 plants running like 500 watts total. Sounds like would run a full blown 600 or 1000 watter for 8 plants. It doesn't really matter. I micro and I just like quality fast. Autos and 12/12 from seedling tho I could veg. It just doesn't really matter tho since micro is not really for commercial. And I don't use much.

Really tho it's just business as usual. Depends on how micro you are really if you have to control height or whatever's. Small space ta know.

So much to factor in with small grows- plant height, pot height, distance from canopy to light, space that light takes up and filters.

So what I'm working with is about 400w in cfls, about 16oz pots (maybe a little bigger), the size is 2x2x2.5ft. The goal is about a foot each plant. 8 might be a bit too much so I was thinking 4. I was thinking about scrog and lst. Also going to drop some a red spectrum lights in there in. The way I'm building the tent allows the lights to be about a ft away from the lights.

With only 2.5 feet height better consider side lighting. Yeah your space is tiny(height) I'm gonna say 2 plants and def gonna have to train, scrog, 12/12 and/or short autos. When you consider your grow, light, space, pots etc. You have to set it up to your most limiting factor which in your case is height. 16 ounce pots sounds about right. 12/12 from seed and training you'll do ok. Your yields will be limited but still. I could see a couple of oz at harvest.

Yeah 2.5 does sound small.. thank god I posted before attempting. What about a 3 ft in height? Would that do it? I'm trying to run this at the bare minimum

You will probably hate that height. Plus your going to have to control the heat off all those CFLs. It can be done. Just saying.

The heat is fine, I have a way around that.. got a shit load of pc fans, about 120v. Cutting out little squares for them into the panda film. Got about 25 of them. Thinking of using only 8

I dunno man. Sounds like a challenge really. Minimum means just that. Small fast quality plant with a limited yield for personal.
