Thank you. You can get them at lowes maybe home depot too but i havnt looked

I've seen those 65 watters in home depot. Also I'm doing a rubbermaid grow right now and I'm having trouble with temps. I have two small pc intake fans and one small pc exhaust fan. I also have a small tower fan inside the box. I'm using 4 26 watt bulbs. When I close up the box, the temps get up to 100 degrees. Today I added a frozen water bottle behing my tower fan and also a small bucket of ice. I also removed 2 bulbs for now because my plant is still small and 2 bulbs will be plenty right now. Can anyone help me find a solution before I have to put the 2 bulbs back in? Maybe I should try to use just 2 65 watt bulbs instead of 4 26. Would this be cooler. Thanx

I was having the same problem. I just decided to keep the front open and my closet door slightly cracked. Now my temps never get over 84. Oh yea also go to walmart they have a fan that operates at very high speed and its pretty slim. It fits in the box great. Let me know if you want pics and ill get some for you

Also I forgot to mention if your on 12/12 have your lights on at night. that helped me way more than any fan i have added.

Well its time to update you guys with some pics. I'm about to be starting week two of flower..Here is how they look. The first one showed sex and its female!!
I'm pretty sure the second is male but i'm still waiting a bit longer before i kill it.

Thanks, but I can't leave my box open. I finally got my temps down though. I froze water bottles and placed one behind the fan so it blows cold air and I have one by my intake cpu fan and also another one just next to my plant. My temps avg about 78 now. The one behind the fan works great but you have to switch the water bottles out twice during the 12/12. I was also thinking if the temps were still high I could put another bottle outside the box behind the intake fan. I really apreciate the suggestions though.

No problem. I was using ice packs for awhile too. They work great but I got tired of always having to change them lol.

so i chopped down the one i suspected was male. It started growing lots of balls : (

OK so I have been in flower for a few weeks now. Ive been using foxfarm nutes and soil for those of you who have just joined my grow. I'm also using two huge 65 watt cfls inside of
a rubbermaid box that is lined with white paper and been watering every other day. She is starting to drink alot of water. And i have been retraining her twice a day now because she is
growing fast. Here are a couple updated photos...Leave your comments or questions i appreciate it.

Nice lst job dude, your grow is looking good. So whoever was looking for those big cfl's i would recommend menard's if you have one around, The one near me has all kinds of big cfls they even have 100 and 125 watt cfl's and i think even bigger. And to qwerty those big 65 watters will probably get even hotter then the bulbs you have, i have a few of them and they get pretty freakin hot, without a fan blowing on them they can actually get hot enough to burn your hand. Now if you are still having trouble with heat i would say you should try having 2 exhausts instead of 2 intakes. Having more exhaust will create basically a suction and you wouldn't even need an intake fan just a passive intake, the suction will pull air through those passive intakes but now you have more air being pushed out of the box. I hope that makes sense to you, I'm quite retarded at the moment lol.

dang i had the same setup with like 10 cfl's and didnt get anywhere in the 2 weeks that i tried. what day are you at?

its been about 7 or 8 weeks. Im about to post pics right now. Probably going to be harvesting soon.

Can anyone tell me when i should harvest. Leaves are yellowing and hairs are amber

im blaezed so i forget the name for a hand held micrascope but you get one of those and look at the trichs (white or anmber mushroom looking things on the bud and leaf) when around 70%-85% of those have turned amber. if u want you can look up when to harvest and you can see when to harvest for different highs like body, head high, or a half and half. That grow looks bomb you did an awesome job
