Micro's first h20 attempt... Going GDP & DWC 8)

simple as that... lol... some people around her have seen what i can do with soil in a micro climate/situation... now its time to take out the soil and go bubbles... all diy setup... from the case to the dwc... all home made shit...

i started germmin a gdp seed two days ago, so for now, im just waitin on it to sprout and throw it in a moisturized jiffy puck and let the bubbles do the rest... should be in the water by sunday...

wattage... 55 watts of 6500k in my mother box with a dimmer wired into the ballast to attempt to control growth of mother while clones are flowering...
182 watts of 2700k in my flowering box... maye replace 3 of the 7 bulbs with 6500k to control heat issues from previous grow...

feel free to ask anything ya want... till then... enjoy the sweet ass piks of the diy dwc setup(s)... lol...

for anyone wondering... that cup will come off once sprout is doing good... its gonna act as a humidity dome for the young sproutling... so stoked about this grow... lol... i am not going to ph my water one time this whole grow to see if i can... its sorta hard to see where i am going as far as yeild... i do plan on flowering at least 7 clones, then the mother... so i guess (like i have said a 1000x before) only time will tell... see ya on the sprout side... lol...

preciate it smokey and merchant.. i cant promise not to disapoint, but i will sure as hell try my best to make it work out... if only there was a way of makin sure this seed was a female.. lol.. i guess that would take the mystery out of it though... i am familiar with the overall structure of most males vegging, and females veggin... so hopefully i will be able to tell pretty quickly... prolly wont be able to till first clone is sexxed, but who cares... im doing it for fun anyways... lol... all about learning and pushing my brains mental capacity to the limit.. if im not learning, then its not fun... so thee you go... lol... my reason for growing... entertainment that yeilds a decent reward in the end...

thanks lee harvey.. imma diy kinda guy due to my lack of proper grow shit in this communistic state they like to call the boot... the state that will NEVER be medicinal... lol.. sadly, i believe this to be true...

Hey Micro, how's it going? I'm in my first DWC as well, and I have questions! First, I see 2 cups, do they each have their own rez and share a big lid? Or one rez for both? Second, whats the rating on your air pump/s? How many cc's or litres of air per minute?Third, what are your rez temperatures staying at? Fourth, what kinda nutes are you gonna end up running for them, organic or chemical? Looks like a nifty little setup, definately true to your name, micro..lol..I'm liking the DWC so far, I finally broke down and got some pH down and a cheap little test kit. Turns out my tap was a pH of 8+!!!! Anyway, I'm totally eager to see how things work out here!

im subd as well i have that little bubbler thing is that all i need to do a water grow ?
fyi i made new cab and got 8 more plants going but once i chop my other 2 plants i want to do a water grow like yours just dont know how to set up

I do not see a problem with height as I see some LST in the future but I do see a major problem with keeping water temps between 68-75 in such a small reservoir....

Yeah, I'm in an 18 gal rez with 14ish gallons of water in it, i have trouble keeping 'em below 76*, but I have some tricks up my sleeve I'm gonna impliment after my rez change tomorrow. I'm sure we'll figure it out, we RIU'rs are a resourceful bunch!!

When I grew DWC hydro I would change the res and throw in a tray of ice or so. Not a ton, but enough to keep it cool until time to fill it again. Dont know if that has a negative effect or not, but I didn notice one!
