I think the red or blue or some type of red / blue combo would be awesome !!! I might go out and get some food coloring myself, I have a bunch of seeds about to pop, I might do orange... mix a little yellow and red into it for effect..... (not trying to steal your idea) Just interested in it.

onto my single pik update...

so... got around too finishing it up... she runs 4 degrees higher than room temperature, so i guess that is the deciding factor on heat... the room or closet she is in... i started germing 4 seeds yesterday morning... when i checked this morning all seeds have cracked... now im just sorta waitin to see a tail comin out from those shells... i can fit four 16 ounce party cups in my new box with about 10 inches of room to grow in between cup and light... all i need now is two more fans and another roll of tape to have my clone box complete...

i gave my flowering lady last watering today... tonight at midnight the lights will go off... next time she sees the light of day, she will be harvested.... muhahahah... lol... im really excited to see total dry weight off of her... i am at 7 gs right now... who knows... this has been a very succesful grow in the sense i harvested way more off of this than my first...

im posting piks of my new box... clone box piks will be up monday...

wanabe... actually, i am gonna veg each party cup for about a month or so... what i.ll prolly do, since im not growing femmed seeds (actually seeds from some real good schwag), is veg till i am able to take a clone, then sex the clones... figure out which are female then throw those female party cups in the flower box, then on to the next four... hell who knows, i might not get 1 fem outta the four, but if i do, then all the better... also, will flower out the clones (female) in a clone box i will have built by monday... sounds like a plan... for now...

fuzzy... thanks homie... i needed a box to have something going besides whats flowerin... lol... this way i can have a lil time messing with other plants while im waitin on the ones in the flower box to finish... plus, i need to work on cloning... not something i have alot of practice with.. in all actuality, i have only cloned once.. it was a successful clone, but i gave it away the day i cut it and dipped it... so it was sorta up to the person i gave it to to take care of it... i need some practice doing these things myself... know hat i mean?

gumball... its a decent sized box... i believe it is about 18 inches tall from the floor up... about 8 inches deep, and prolly about 18 inches wide... like i explained to fuzzy, i just needed something to do in between flowerings... also, something to keep my mother plant in when i find a keeper... the key to this box is that the light is one of those flat 55 watt bulbs... it takes less than a vertical inch to keep her in there... its ballast stays in the box to the top right... its not a screw in light... it sorta snaps into the socket... lemme see if i can find a pic of the light that is in it...

can you fit 2 of them in the box, with ballast? how big is the ballast you think? i am gonna just keep the CFL's in my PC for clones and moms, so when i run out of CFL bulbs i may look into those. great find

depending on how big your box is, maybe... the ballast is about the size of 5 black and mild five packs stacked on each other... hummm... i ripped this light and ballast outta a lamp i found... funny how free shit is the best shit sometimes... i think if you added the extra length of wires needed, you could simply wire it to where both ballasts were outside your box... and then you would def have room for two of them... it was a pain in the ass to mount though.... nothing to attach anything to really... i guess if i had tools then it may have been easier with the right supplies, but i simply used zip ties...

thats what i was thinking.. now its just time for me to find a mother i am content with to take clones from... lol... the search is on for the ultimate micro strain... perfect stretch, perfect density, short flowering time, and perfect stoned... this is gonna be a fun adventure... lol.. but when i find the right one, dwc itll be... i wanna flower in soil though... from what i have read and observed, plants flowered in soil are just right in my opinion... but i am not worried about dwc changing any of that up, because truthfully, itll be the flowering cycle that makes the dif... im sorta drunk right now... just drank a jack on the rocks... i know im a light weight, but really, i dont drink anymore... so... sorry bout the ramblings... back to the point... basically what i was saying was... dwc will work just perfect... when i find the right one.

with that said.. tomorrow night is harvest night... the night i have been waiting for since i started her from seed... i may be able to get one of my party cups going in the morning.. if i do, that will prolly be the only piks i post... so.. till then fellas... im out for the night...

Good plan micro. I'm also building a veg box and making plans for future grows, I like the idea of taking a cutting from the veggin plant to sex her, do you know how long do they take until you can take cuttings ?
