The rep system is simply a way to pat someone on the shoulder and say good job , and not everyone takes the time to read your signature...

Thanks Marlowe......never grew the Lemon Skunk Auto....never grew the Lemon Skunk.....but I was fortunate to receive some Lemon Skunk beans in the mail from a seed fairy here on RIU last week...along with some White Widow(one of my favs to grow).....Can't wait to grow them out!!!!
Edit....and this is the last comment I will make on the subject...I just have to.......Notice how my rep is MASSIVE....and his teenie tiny.....probably like something else we could compare....LOL
but seriously...just because you don't understand the +rep system doesn't mean bash it....it is there to show who are the big contributors to the site and how helpful the one individual is.....if he doesn't like it I say go to speedyseeds or some other shit site.........ok....I'm done.

Like Marlowe said its a way to pat a member on the back for helping you out or posting something useful or for having a great grow....look below where you status says learning how to roll.... you see that little box.....that is how much +rep you have earned......on each post in the lower left hand corner you'll see a little star symbol....that is how you add rep to someones post......+rep to you for being an outstanding member growyourown!!!!!
the only negative thing about it is you cant rep the same guy in a row....you'll get a little message when you click on the star symbol telling you to spread some around....this is why I can't rep you now cause I gave you some last week.

another thing on the +rep.....after you type in your little message to the person.....add your name at the end.....that way we know who the rep comes from so we can send it right back to ya....It just helps!!!!!!
