Hey, dont hit me if I sound retarded, but I put some bone meal in my soil last week, and now it is molding a little and I do not know how to get rid of it...It has not affected my plants, but I would like to know what effects it can have, and how do I go about getting rid of it on the top of my soil.

Thanks!

P.S thanks to you guys so far, my babies are looking great!

hello mr. good

Make sure you let the top 2 inches of your soil dry before you water...
Make sure the mold does not get on your stem... if you do try to remove the top layer of dirt. be very careful and gentle not to disturb the mold any more than you have to.. you don't want that stuff spreading...

You could always get a sulpher burner.. they work well against mildew..

cheers

what brings this mold on ?

i live in a high humidity climate, but have yet to see or suffer loss after 5 years from mold, now i do pull air out in the winter and a/c in the summer.

The thing that makes me wonder is that i mist my girls at least once a week. what reall stimulates this growth?

i put bone meal in the plants last week, and after a few days, it started getting moldy on the soil. its in a very humid basement, so i can see why it is there, but i just need to get rid of it somehow, the last persons advice was awesome, and i hope it works.
