yeah thats what i meant it will travel regardless of what i do. aswell why does it take breeding longer outside and what are some tips on maintaining seed growth on the plant if any?
So how long does it actually take for seed formation? If I flower males + females at the same time, dose it take like 4 months total to wait for males to mature and then to pollinate the females... considering average flower time for fems is 8 weeks?
I am a bit of a complete noob in this area. Seems like you have to guess which ones are the males and flower them first ?
Thanks for a great answer. +repi put mine into flower for about 10 days. at the first sign of sex i put the females outside to veg. i kept 1 male inside my flower room until the flowers were just ready to open. this took about 3 - 4 weeks. maybe less. once the male flowers were close i put it outside to ripen. when i had enough swollen pods i killed it. whole process with the male took about 2 months. the females are in full veg and i can save pollen and pollinate them in august if desired. hope this helps.
Thanks for a great answer. +rep
Another related question, how much does it stress and/or set-back females
by changing their light cycle to induce flowering to sex, and then back to veg? As far as total setback time , would you say it costs about 2 weeks? 3 weeks? All of my grows are currently from standars 10pks of seeds. I really want to be able to get more seeds from every batch I buy for future use.
Also, I am only getting about 14.5 hours of light right now outdoors- is that enough to bring them back to veg from flower with good results?
i missed what strain u laid that roadtrip with. that female looks hefty. what are the traits you are trying to find mixed in the children?
You don't have any issues of stray pollen with the paint brush method? Do you have any experience with them indoors?
