How's that exactly if I don't hold any ill will towards anyone rich for being rich. The issue arises when rich people legally bribe politicians, then politicians represent their interests over the interests of the American people, their constituents, who they're supposed to represent.

Cloobeck is pushing a strawman argument that nobody - or very few - actually hold. He actually named the three Democratic congress members (Schumer, Pelosi, and Wyden) when he was referring to "them". Have any of them ever said anything close to what Cloobeck is claiming they said? Not even Bernie Sanders says that. Do you disagree with the idea that rich people and corporations should pay their fair share or do you want to keep arguing against a position nobody holds?

No one is saying rich people are bad, with the possible exception of the news interviewer in an attempt to create the strawman argument.
@Padawanbater2 just said he doesn't have anything against rich people, as long as they don't have unfair influence over our political system and pay their fair share of taxes.
I happen to agree with that very same statement.
