I always liked that sort of tip. Double ground point leaves you a couple of really thin tips. My go to brand was German, but those look kind of similar. Sadly, we are in the minority. Most people go for those clunky springy ones.Have you discovered these game changers.

Good score. The KV. Tamiya made good models. The kits from the early 60s bring a small fortune sometimes. I dunno if the Centurion is going to bring as much.

Those look nice. My lady might like them, I have a hard time with the small holes.

one bad part of the spring assisted fiskars micro tips are the springs........and Fiskars will send you a pack of replacement springs for life.

Yep, not for everybody. I am a professional hand-spokesmodel, so I have long, elegant fingers like an alien gray. I only use the ring finger and thumb with my pinky outstretched like I am having tea with a queen (not Patrick Swayze). My hand-coach does not know how to account for my hand muscle tone. It is my professional secret. #whyilovetrimming.

Well then it's not so bad. They are easy to replace. My biggest problem is that the points are as thick as the steel of the whole blade. They make no real attempt to thin it down on that axis. Try stabbing yourself with both types. The entry wound for the Fiskars is much larger.
