mini green house worthy?

has anyone or does anyone kno if i can use glass pannels from the greenhouse as a mini green house for my outdoor uk?

i was thinking of using them at the side but would that cause too much heat and burn the poor things?

anyone can help

put some bales of straw in a square put plant in square put glass on top... check often to see the temp if too hot remove one bale maybe that will work for ya but im not sure exactly what yer askin

I install windows for a living, if we lay a window on the grass on a hot day with the sun shining threw it for verry long (1-2 hrs)it will burn a pretty square in there lawn an almost kill the grass under it.:cuss:

Some glass has UV protection like spf 50 windows, an it dosent get as hot, But i still think it would be to much.

Use plastic corrigated pannels made for green houses. It shines light in at any angle an u just use it for the lid. Any glass shop can get em or check out the net.

Also use a thermostat to start fans automaticaly when the temps get to high.

It burns because the heat cannot escape from underneath. Plants CRAVE UV ... ppl don't. Windows are made for ppl.
