Basic rule of thumb is equal parts, Peat, Hummus, Perlite as base. Your soil is definately heavy, and lacking aeration without the perlite.
The perlite also helps prevent compaction.
@3rd Monkey is right about you needing more than just the manure. Garden-tone or something like that would be an easy fix.

I have not changed anything about my setup and is started my Deathstar baby. It popped on the 10th and hasnt had any problems and actually has grown way quicker.. I have been bending the leaves down once a day and letting them rise back up
